Really nice hotel

A really nice and new hotel has been opened for 4 years, room is abit small but very nice decorated, with this price I would recommend people to stay here.

Hotel was in reasonable good condition and clean. First stay in a Microtel and found the room to be small but "micro" means small. Only thing really lacking was a comfortable chair(s) but, then again, there is really no room for them. Somewhat noisy as we heard footsteps above us and people in the hallway quite a bit. Too close the elevator.

Close to Notre Dame campus

The room is dated and carpet is old and stained (and the sheets were stained also but appeared clean). The hotel is in walking distance to campus which is why we chose to stay here. If we ever come to South Bend again I will probably try a different hotel.

Shower had very little water pressure. Toilet did not flush well at all. The room decor was very dated.

Hotel exceeded our expectations

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was up-to-date and very clean. Very nice room and bathroom. Also enjoyed the continental breakfast. All in all it was a very nice place to stay.

The room was very clean, but dated and in need of upgrade. Bed was comfortable. TV "stuttered" but I don't know if this was because the TV needs replacement or because reception was bad. The staff (front desk & housekeeping) was friendly & helpful. Side door key entry did not work so we had to go around to the front. Room had kitchenette (frig, microwave, sink, counter w/bar stools) and sofa(bed).

We came into town for a 3:00 wedding at about 1:00. I had called early in the week requesting early check in and called that morning asking again. When I arrived I asked if our room was ready and the person working said no, it would be 2 or later. Well that obviously doesn't work for someone going to a 3:00 wedding. My husband and I had to go to a friend's hotel to get ready. Once we checked in that evening, the room was super small and smelled musty. The breakfast the next day was not desirable and there were not enough tables to sit. The water in the lobby was warm.

You get what you pay for

First room toilet sidn't work, 2nd room bathtub didn't work. Got stuck here during winter srorm Pandora, paid for another night unwillingly due to storm and demanded a room with a working bathroom. The tub sropper still didn't work. You get what you pay for I guess. I needed to call customer service for microtel to get my 2nd night refunded due to the bad experience. I wouldn't stay again.
