Excellent hotel Perfect location Notre Dame

Posted Apr 19, 2015
From valet to check in to concierge everything was perfect. The only glitch was a temporary remodel of one of the hotel's dining restaurants-a pub like /sports bar- I could not recall name- kitchen was being remodeled so they offered a buffet-food comparable to college cafeteria food! Would avoid till remodel complete

Convenient location to Williams college. Food was good and restaurant staff very helpful. Room decor could definitely use dne updating. We were on the second floor and I read that some rooms had been updated but we were not in one of those. Quick overnight stay but the location to he school could not have been better

The best hotel in South Bend

If you can stay here you should. It's located on the campus of Notre Dame and is maintained perfectly. Delightful bar with better-than-pub food, plus a fine dining restaurant. The rooms are typical of a first-class hotel.

Had a nice stay to visit Notre Dame. Attended ND symphony and visited with friends. Only disappointing thing was Rohr's Irish pub. They don't take reservations, and won't put your name on a waiting list. They also don't let under 21 year olds in the back room to eat. They said it was an Indiana law, yet less than a mile away at O'Rourkes they will let under 21 year old in to eat until 9:00pm.

I still remember the old Morris Inn which felt like circa 1950. The new Morris Inn is outstanding..contemporary but still maintains the feel of the Irish.
