Cons: see above
Location: Notre Dame University
headboard fell off the wall, refrigerator so loud we could sleep had to turn it off, a/c wouldn't come on untill set at 60 degrees so cold it was hard to sleep. , lamp on one side of bed didn't work. No offer of a discount because we went through Expedia. This encourages people not to use Expedia

Excellent place to stay for a ND football weekend

Posted Sep 2, 2014
My father and I drove in Saturday morning from Ohio for a 3:30 Notre Dame game. We arrived at 12:30 and our room was already set for us. The beds were comfortable, the front desk staff was very friendly, and it is located very close to Notre Dame. I was able to swim a few laps Sunday morning before we left to go back to campus. This is a great hotel for anyone visiting the University of Notre Dame.

OK for Our Needs

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Reasonable rate. Bathroom a bit run down - older fixtures and flooring. Hallway carpet stained. Had to request washcloths but received a swift and courteous response from staff. Broken office chair. No working icemaker on 2nd floor. Overall, for location and cleanliness, it was good. Would stay again.

Close to campus

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location to campus
Cons: Toilet lol
Room was clean, good location, comfortable. But the first night, toilet ran all night, we closed the door to bathroom and didn't really hear. Second night, came back to hotel and no water in toilet and obviously would not flush. Reported it to front desk and said no maintenance on staff. We were checking out early so it really didn't matter much to us. Toilet was working in the morning though, who knows !

Great room and staff

Our experience at the Quality Inn was wonderful..our room was beautiful. We had everything we needed...comfortable beds, clean room, plenty of hot water in the morning. Check in and out was quick and easy. Very nice breakfast available in the morning... I highly recommend. I know we will stay here again.

Not terribly happy with stay.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Cleaning staff were very friendly and a good job on the rooms. Front desk folks left a lot to be desired. Check in time didn't work. Had to wait for a room. Finally got a room after 4:00pm. Had to leave early due to a death in the family. Asked for a refund on the room and was told "no". Lots of heart there!

Location is great. That's why I chose this hotel

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The location, its clean and quiet and lots of parking
Cons: The staff
Location: Lots of good restaurants close by, Lots ot gas stations and really a great location
The property was fine. A few spots on carpet but no major thing. The staff left lots to be desired. I stopped and asked the desk clerk if he could change 2 $20.00 Bille for me and was told that "we are not the bank" I had to leave south bend at 6:45 in the morning and went to the front desk to check out at 6 AM. No one was there and after waiting and calling out several times for the clerk I left after 15 minutes of standing there myself. The manager is a plus to this [property but the rest of the help is terrible.

Close to Studebaker Museum & Notre Dame University

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Breakfast buffet
Cons: Replace carpet in hallway
Location: Hotel is close to Studebaker Museum & Notre Dame
Upon arrival we were given a key to a room that was occupied by another customer. The young man at the front desk apologized and gave us another room. Unfortunately, he gave us the room next door to one we were originally assigned. That seemed like an odd decision. The thought of finding another hotel crossed our mind, but after a long day of travel we decided to stay. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The hotel should consider replacing carpet in hallways due to several large stains. Fortunately, the rooms are much nicer than the hallway! The rooms are designed with a contemporary appeal.
