“Survived Irene!”

The hotel seems to be going through some updating. Clean and comfortable. Not all rooms have hairdryers. Staff very friendly & helpful. Weathered Hurricaine Irene without any troubles.

“for the low cost, it was good”

one of the double beds had dirty bedspread and blanket..looked like vomit...it was removed and washed immediately...the staff was very cordial and apologetic...the desk clerk was ready to change our room but i declined..i was impressed by their niceness...i would definitely go back.....

“Great stay May 19th to 21st 2012”

We arrived a little fearful because we had read some fairly discouraging reviews. All hotels in the area were unavailable so we took a chance. The staff at the registration desk were very friendly, smiling and extremely helpful. The room was also a surprise as it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The amenities in the bathroom were not the most modern, however they too were spotless. All the carpeting, including in the hall, appeared to be fairly new. During our 2-day stay, we heard no noise and had two very quiet restfull nights of sleep. We would definitely stay there again. This hotel is very well located, being right across from the University Mall and about 3 miles to downtown Burlington.

“Clean but basic”

Not bad for the price. Not Luxury but clean..I had a room that was half underground that was a bit strange , window looked out on the underside of a bush but it was a very clean and comfortable. Everyone was very nice..ok pool too Across from the Burlington Mall so, plenty of places to eat /visit.. Near the university and downtiown area..Very convenient....

“Average”

Its a pretty average hotel. The shower leaks water into the bathroom wall and there was a lot of water damage in the bathroom. The 'continental' breakfast was pretty bad, but if you need somewhere to stay on short notice, I guess this place is ok. Nothing extraordinary, but was clean enough.

“we got what we paid for...”

This was the only hotel available in Burlington that night, so we didn't really have an option. There was a stale smell of old smoke and who knows what else in the room, probably due to the old carpets. The tub didn't drain well, so we had to stand in a deep puddle by the time the shower was done. The sheets were old and getting very thin. The icing on the cake was the humorous breakfast: two types of cereal, prewrapped donuts with coffee and juice. Nowhere to sit to eat except the chairs by the check-in counter. It was a laugh! The price was reasonable, but quality lacking.

“Used to be a nice hotel, it is now very run down. However, the people were nice and helpful.”

Employees were very nice & helpful- however the hotel itself was extremely run down and expensive for what it had to offer. I stayed at this hotel many years ago and it was pretty nice..... I feel sad that it is in such disrepair, very disappointing ........
