Exceeded expectations. Great array of toilet articles, free bed board offered in guest brochure. Something undefinable particularly pleasing about room. Great restaurant, not ridiculously expensive. Puzzle: No one cleaned the room between the 2 nights of my 2-night stay--probably the result of a misunderstanding.

“Very nice hotel!”

This was really nice, with really nice front desk staff who remembered me, and really nice rooms. The furniture and fixtures in the room were lovely - sturdy but modern, with gorgeous lights. The sink vanity was large and outside the bathroom for easier sharing. The bathroom tiles were large and appeared to be marble. The towels and bedding were lovely. I hadn't noticed there was going to be a refrigerator so that was a very nice surprise. The tv was big and the gaming controls nice if you want that sort of thing. The in-room breakfast was very good. I got a courtesy call just after I'd arrived to check that I had everything I needed. The pool and fitness room were clean and nice. The grounds were nice with a gazebo and outside seating. Just one suggestion - an extra bench outside for people waiting for transportation but hey - that's a very small gripe!

“A great vacation choice”

We had decided to go away for Thanksgiving and wanted peace and quiet and comfort. We found it at the Doubletree in Burlington. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. The room was clean and comfortable. We liked the pile of pillows on each bed! We had breakfast in bed and Thanksgiving dinner also. The food is not great but it is very good and having it brought to our room made up for anything. We also enjoyed the area around the hotel. We visited a book store, a great food store, and a dinner restaurant within an easy walk. There was much else also but we were content to head back to our room. I would recommend a stay to anyone and actually we are planning to buy a stay at the hotel for our daughter and partner.

“A fantastic start to our honeymoon!”

The hotel provide a shuttle service from and to the airport at regular intervals/ or as and when needed. This was very convenient and reliable and saved us cab fare! When we arrived at the hotel (1.5 miles from Burlington airport) after our long day of flying, we were given a lovely reception at check in and were given a complimentary warm cookie and were also told we had free champagne and strawberries waiting for us in the fridge because of the suite we had booked! (Bridal Package). The king bed was comfortable and the TV channel selection and picture quality were good. Trader Duke's is a great place for breakfast and dinner and the bar in the evening was run by Arthur who was great to talk to and really looked after us. All the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. Al's French Frys just down the road is a great place to grab a bite to eat as well. You've never had fries like them!

“Very comfortable!”

This hotel was awesome! If you want that home away from home feeling, stay here! The front desk people were very friendly and before handing us our room keys, we were given two warm fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies that were delicious! The room itself was fantastic...the decor was classy and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. It also came equipped with a mini-fridge and quality toiletries. There is also a good restaurant attached to the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and again!

Greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies. Prompt airport shuttle. Very comfortable room. . Helpful front desk. Near UVM and the airport which was what we needed.

“Worth the additional cost”

Very clean room, restaurant was nice, pool was refreshing, hottub was just a touch too warm (but I'm sure that's how most people like it). Close to UVM college, a little bit of traffic (yet manageable), near the nightlife on main st. Overall experience was quite pleasant.

“Fun night in Burlington”

Very impressed with the overall hotel especially with the free breakfast at the adjacent restaurant. Best breakfast at a hotel in years. Soft Towls, comfortable bed. Would recommend the hotel to anyone going to Burlington.
