Very clean and great for family vacation

Posted Aug 16, 2014
We stayed 5 nights. Didn't take advantage of the free dinners they offer most nights, but our kids did eat their fair share of fruit loops and yogurt each morning! The breakfast bar had plenty of options. It was convenient to have a full size microwave and fridge in the room. Best of all, the hotel room was clean!

The room was clean and spacious. Loved the fully equipped kitchen. The included breakfast was good. The Saturday evening barbecue was delicious . The pool was clean. It worked perfectly for our family of 5.

Great location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Pool, breakfast and bathroom were perfect.
Cons: Your payment process, get Square for a backup
Location: Echo is right on!
Did not appreciate the necessity to leave photo copy you need to have a better and safer back up plan. The room was nice and the experience was nice until our baby woke up sick. We tried to clean the linens and were unable to rest from 4am on...We would like to try this again, soon and hope we will be a healthy family all nite. Thanks to your pool the older kids slept well.

This hotel was very comfortable. They had a great free breakfast as well. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of dinner there, but there were always people in the lounge. We also took used the swimming pool which was very nice.

Nice suites in the middle of it all

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Clean, large, comfortable room
Cons: In-room coffee maker didn't work..better coffee maker
Location: Take advantage of the Burlington Bike Path! We lived in Burlington for nearly a decade and the view of the Adirondacks never ceased to stun.
We were in Burlington area for a concert in Shelburne and the suite was spacious, clean, and quiet. Workout facilities and pool seemed pretty standard. Can't comment on complimentary beer and wine happy hour or breakfast as we were in and out quickly....but the room was nice!

Clean, spacious hotel with many amenities

Posted May 11, 2014
Location: It is only about 2 mi away from the great Burlington downtown, which is close enough for a great time!
I stayed for a conference nearby and really had a lovely stay. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner (and the included coffee and beer) and the swimming pool. Very clean pool and hot tub. The shower was good, with excellent pressure and nice toiletries. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, it was a shame to get up early to go to the conference!! The kitchen was awesome, however, I didn't need it. Thanks for a wonderful stay! I will stay here the next time I am in Burlington.

A pleasant surprise.

Cons: GMS is in the process of enlarging the lobby, which is the only improvement we could think necessary.
Location: GMS is very close to The University of Vermont and to the city of Burlington, with all it has to offer.
We were at the end of a college visit trip, staying at the typical chain motels. What a pleasant change; walking into a suite including a living room with a full kitchen, separate bedroom(s), and bathroom. The suite was clean, despite construction going on to enlarge the lobby. Staff were helpful and courteous. The full breakfast was fairly typical, but we took the option of taking plates back to our room's dining table. We are already thinking of spending another stay in Burlington, and wouldn't consider staying at any other place.
