We were there for only a short time for a wedding, so didn't get to experience everything, but it seemed to be a nice hotel. The rooms had microwaves, fridges, iron and ironing board, as well as being spacious. Nice room and good price. We had some problems at check-in getting 2 clean rooms, but they were very apologetic about it and I believe the desk person was rather new at this position.

We needed a long weekend away. We were on our way to Milwaukee and decided to stop for a night in Madison. It just happened to be the first night of BratFest. Way Fun. We ended up taking the free shuttle downtown for drinks and supper and had a ball. We have used free shuttles before, and they are never good, but this was great. They left when they said they would leave and picked us up within 2 minutes of when they said they would. The driver (Patrick I think??) was great and friendly/fun. We drank way too much and had way too much fun. Price was good and facility/staff was great. Thank you.

They try hard! The staff does a great job. From the outside street location, at a dead-end, you are a bit worried. Then the staff is pleasant and the room is up to date and clean... so... you get over that.
