A good experience.Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable and they had free apples!
Cons: Fresh batteries in the TV remote? But this was of little concern to us.
Location: A nice clean hotel with fast internet service. Good location.

Close to BrnoPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The rooms are more than you would expect from a good cheap hotel - it had a heating rack for towels (and washing) and a bidet. It was very quiet too.
Cons: The bar seemed always to be empty. Breakfast was poor.
Location: A good pub next to the theatre for students. At the moment the "Cabbage market" is in a close by park. It takes 10 minutes walk to main square
My wife is from Brno and we have stayed in around 10 hotels in the last 20 years there. Hotel Europa is probably the cheapest one but it is very convenient for walking into Brno without a tram being needed. It is very convenient for the National Theatre and in summer an outdoor cinema which is right next to a good restaurant. The facilities of the hotel are good and in summer the rooms have air conditioning which was welcome as temperatures made 33 degrees. Breakfast is fairly weak - I tended to be stuck with juice, cereals, sausage and egg (could be a little cold) and instant coffee. The one time we got up early there were some croissants. Most people will only stop in Brno for 2/3 days. I would really recommend Spielberg castle though not if you struggle climbing. It has views of the city and just about to Austria. The cathedral is prominent and you must see the Brno dragon at the town hall. It is well worth going to Brno dam on a summer's day and perhaps catching a boat. A lot of people leave the boat at Veveri castle which is worth stopping for. The tram system for Brno is excellent and far outshines the ones from Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester even if they were all put together. Brno is a very relaxed city which it sees as being the centre of Europe.

Simple comfortable hotelPosted Jul 29, 2014
Nice hotel close to the centre approx 5 minutes :) no noise at night at all , not too many nice bars beside hotel but great for a weekend away . Close to a beautiful park . Staff were very friendly , rooms simple clean but not luxurious however couldn't expect that for price

Pleasant Spot near to sightsPosted Jul 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Especially appreciated the friendly help of the front desk staff. Stayed one night. Free parking on street. Decent breakfast. Lovely smallish rooms with some unique antiques and fully updated baths and conveniences. A real value!

Almost everything we could wantPosted Jun 8, 2014
The hotel has excellent facilities, and is very close to many of the attractions of Brno. The staff were very helpful, and the buffet breakfast was both plentiful and varied. The only features which one might complain about might be the difficulty of parking — though this is to be expected for such a central location. The other comment is about the instant coffee: for coffee addicts who crave a good coffee, this would be a disappointment.

Great hotel for the moneyPosted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good location--Brno isn't a huge town and is very walkable, and Hotel Europa was a reasonable (<20 min) walk to anywhere I wanted to go. Clean, good wifi connection, friendly staff spoke great English, no complaints.

Nice and clean hotel, first class for the pricePosted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I really enjoyed it. Very clean, good conditions to rest and work (very comfortable desk and chair at the right height, unlike in most American hotels), working cable internet in the room and WiFi in the reception area. Everybody speaks English. Highly recommended.
