Nice hotel for a small town. Of course we stayed Sunday night so it was almost completely empty. But we were impressed by the cleanliness of both the room/bathroom and the pool. Breakfast was better than your ordinary continental so that was nice.

Reedsport's best!

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: That it was a Best Western.
Location: It's in Reedsport -- enough said.
Nice clean hotel. Good breakfast. We will be back.

poor layout

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Its closeness to Winchester Bay.
Cons: See comments in "my experience" section for areas where improvements can be made.
Location: You are by the ocean so use your imagination.
We arrived in the rain. In order to get to the breakfast area and office area, we had to walk across the parking lot in pouring rain. There was a sidewalk that led to the pool area, but we were told that we could not come in through the pool area. However, after complaining, we were told, after breakfast, that we could leave through the pool area. We had my handicapped 83 year-old mother with us. I couldn't believe they didn't have better access for poor weather and for handicapped individuals. We have stayed at several Best Westerns in our travels and this one was not anywhere near the quality of others, especially their breakfast selections.

The hot tub was broken which is the reason we chose this hotel.

Unfriendly staff

Unfortunately, our stay here was horrible. The staff here was very unfriendly and rude. A smile goes a long ways. Terrible end to a wonderful vacation.

Nice hotel, comfortable beds, helpful staff.

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: I did not like the pets allowed. I stepped outside of our room and almost stepped in a pile of dog poop. The staff cleaned it up.
Location: Harbor Lights restaurant has great food. Be sure to visit the kid-friendly visitor center with boardwalk. Don't forget the dunes.
The staff were great. The room was well decorated and the beds were comfortable. We slept well.

Very comfortable, quiet

Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: It was quiet and furnished very nicely. We especially liked the pillows and the blanket.
Location: We were there for a family reunion, but there is fishing, boating, golfing, sand dunes, dune buggies. Lots of fresh fish to eat!
The room was inviting. We were able to relax after an 8 hour drive to get to Reedsport, Oregon. It was a great hotel.
