“could use some TLC”

This Red Lion was once a very nice motel that has fallen on hard times and is still ok but not as nice as it once was.

“Good value”

The small difference between Red Lion and Motel 6 was well worth it in terms of improved cleanliness and comfort.

“Why Red Lion;why Coos Bay”

I'm afraid it was a sad stay, though adequate. I would say look elsewhere, up and down the coast for a place to enjoy the beauty of the northwest coast.

I would recommend exploring other spots along the coast to explore the great northwest.

“Not Impressed”

The room was quite noisy the first night of our stay, must of been some children in the room above us. We had a difficult time sleeping. The roiom was comfortable aand clean. I would go back if I stay in Coos Bay again

“Fairly clean, but dated”

It was ok, considering the hotel is older than I am (47). Room smelled stale and caulking around tub was mildewy. But, there isn't much to choose from in tyre area, so will probably go back.

“Indiana Retired”

The room was huge. There were two sinks on two rather long countertops. The five dollar breakfast was top quality. Easy access from 101, friendly staff, and reasonable rates make this property a no brainer.

“Not impressed”

Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet our expectations. It is quite old and is in need of some updating. There is nothing on the grounds but parking and hotel. No gardens or grassy areas. Access from our room to the pool was directly arosss the parking lot..no walking areas provided. As it is located by the highway, the traffic noise was heard all night.

“Red Lion is pretty good”

Other than the comforter with salad dressing or something spilled on it (I'm hoping it was only sauce) it was a REALLY nice room and very comfortable. The breakfast $4.95, was pretty good and the staff were extremely friendly. I would go back, but it's a tad expensive to do too often.
