We got a great deal on this motel, but I'm glad that we didn't have to pay their average price. The room was clean and was slightly updated, but it was obviously an older motel. I am in a wheelchair and the little hallway leading to the bathroom was so cramped it was impossible to make it into the bathroom in my wheelchair. The free breakfast was only coffee and toast. We were there for just one night, so it was fine for us.

“Pleasant, helpful, both Desk and Staff”

I'm just checking out after more than a week here. The folks on the desk have been gracious and helpful; same with the cleaning crew. If I have a minor complaint, it's that the laminated TV channel lineup doesn't mesh very well with local (in this case, Eugene) TV listings. Causes mild confusion. Otherwise I heartily recommend this motel.

“Updated and clean but TINY!”

Our room had recently been decorated -- new bathroom, carpet, paint, bed and bed linens etc., but the room itself was TINY. I could hardly walk around the bed -- stubbed my toe a couple of times on the desk. Location close to downtown and on route 101, but were happy to be on the back side so it was quieter. They had a minimalist continental breakfast also in a TINY room. Wireless internet in the room was weak -- would barely work very slowly in the evening, but were able to log on early in the morning. Overall, probably OK value for the money, but the room was too small for us.

“Clean and Neat”

Very clean and neat and updated. Not fancy but comfortable. Located in the heart of Coos Bay.

“I couldn't believe it was Super 8... I thought it's some 3-star hotel!”

Room was extremely nice and was much nicer than any other similar motels I have ever stayed in. Things are in excellent condition, except the air condition that was too small that the room wasnt kept warm enough. (It was a very cold night)

“Customer Service Needs Improvement”

Got this room for relatives visiting and needed an extra night after I booked it, so paid cash at check in for the extra night. My family was asked to leave because the motel a day early because the motel said they had no record of them paying for the extra day. Took receipt in and the young man at the front desk was not very apologetic. Handed him the receipt and asked what they were going to do to make this better and he said he could not do anything except check them back in because the manager was not there. Ended up asking for money back and got a room elsewhere. They will not be getting any business from us and I left my number for the manager to call me and she never did. Completely unsatisfied!!!! I understand mistakes happen but that was humiliating and inconvenient for my family members and customer service should be a priority.

“Nice hotel”

We chose this hotel because it was half way to where we were going and it was just great. Very clean room and helpful staff. If I was travelling in this area again I would certainly stay here.
