“a little cramped but did the job”

The entrance, parking lot and our room were all cramped. Other than the hair in the sink, the hotel sufficed.

Area recommendations
We ate at big boys or bad boys and it was good.

“A good hotel for the price”

The room was comfortable, it offered a pool and hot tub that were both clean. I have no complaints.

“Questionable...”

The pictures on the web were far more impressive than the hotel itself. My room had a table that was not at all sturdy and the room itself smelled moldy. I'm all for being eco-friendly, however I would still want to sleep on fresh, clean sheets. The vending and laundry area could both use some improvement. Hotel staff was awesome and courteous...based on the service, I would check in again, however I would also like to have the small issues resolved.

Area recommendations
I would have liked a beach front hotel. But anything along the strip is great :-)
Events and shows
Our trip was for the 24th annual sandcastle days. It was fun for the entire family and showcased some of Port Isabel's shops and community. It would have been a lot nicer if it weren't red tide though.

“This is a good hotel”

I really liked this hotel I was staying only one day. the breakfast was delicious, the room was expected to agree. I could not use the pool but looked in perfect condition. I highly recommend it.

“Will NEVER return”

We have stayed in MANY hotels in TX, FL, & NY. None were as outdated as this one. For what we paid, we could've stayed somewhere much nicer!!! The ceilings still have the cottage cheese texture-YUCK! restroom has mold around base boards.Dead roach behind bed. Dirty comforter, carpet, chairs. dark room.only good thing was COLD A/C and small fridge...will NEVER return!!!

“Geat choice for Students!”

We went there for Spring Break, it has what we need. I extremely recommend for students who like adventure, and went for the weekend...

“Not impressed”

This hotel is exterior only. Did not feel safe and never saw security.

Area recommendations
I suggest you stay closer to the bridge. Appears to be more activity in that area.

“Friendly staff.. For the price you can't get better than this!”

In low season they can give you a really good discount on the price of your room, depending on the lenght of your stay.... The breakfast is surprisingly good and included in the price that is already low!! It's the place to be if you want the quality at low price!!!
