This place is a gem. It’s not the Hilton and the property is very small and a little older, but super clean and staff really friendly. The rooms exit out directly to the sidewalk to go to the beach and restaurant. We were literally 25 steps from the beach. You order food at the bar and get a buzzer when it’s ready. Really inexpensive food and Lone Star beer was always 2 for $5.00. Can’t wait to come back!

This place was amazing I mean we could not have planned a better place to be!! Our room was right next to the beach bar entrance which was right next to the beach access itself so the convenience of everything was spot on! If you go, make sure to get a drink called the Turbo!! Will definitely be back for our next vacation!

Great location. Everything you want, the beach, food and drink and nice clean room all in one spot. Staff was very helpful arranging for my later than usual check-in.

I liked this property due to its location on the beach plus it's restaurant/ bar. I however did not like that the renters above were extremely noisy, literally moving furniture until 4am. No sleep was had on my part because of this. Very thin flooring.

Wanna Wanna is a fun place to be. Room was very outdated, but good and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The Turbo Pina Colada was awesome! Menu is nothing fancy, but always tasty! Thanks Again!

The hotel.com review gave them almost 9 stars, they were no where near that. The property was extremely run down with rotted bathroom door and holes in walls and baseboards. The main door to the room had a door knob that was about to fall off and we couldn't lock the deadbolt because the door wasn't hung properly.....very unsecure. Mini blinds on windows were damaged. Very disappointed I would not go back.

No frills beach hotel
Alright, let it be known the reviews on here are telling the truth: this is a no frills motel with basic amenities that's ultra convenient for going to the beach on SPI. Don't expect luxury: it's run down but relatively well maintained, mostly very clean, and cheap place to stay. The rooms are small and cramped, basic amenities. Towels were new in my room (they had the stickers still), but wish they gave better toiletries like proper body wash. The door was hard to close, I had to call maintenance who came within 5 minutes to fix it. The bar is cheap and generic food but a good ambience. The huge plus is the beach is less than 100 steps away from your room. Parking is okay, can get busy in the afternoon but is great at night. The AC was very loud, thankfully we were exhausted otherwise not sure I could've slept. Stay here because it's cheap and you want to save money while enjoying the beach.

The room was VERY clean. The patio bar was a really nice place to sit and the drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning to watch the sunrise. I appreciate that it was open to us even though the bar was closed. Thank you!
