Excellent apart from shower!!Posted Aug 4, 2014
Stayed in one of the out buildings room 232, brilliant large room for a family. The shower was awful, a very little dribble, could not wash soap off or even attempt to wash hair at all!! Complained and I got the impression nothing would be done about it!!

Charming house - though not city centerPosted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: the team members were fantastic - literally everyone (and it is hard to say this about a hotel) was helpful and friendly.
Cons: the droughty windows - the heating
Location: nothing really - except a ruin of a castle next door
The hotel is a charming estate house which has been restored lovely and the the spa is wonderful. The grounds surrounding it are beautiful and the team members were so friendly and warm - it was a lovely stay. Now - sadly for the negatives - with it being a converted estate house - the windows were quite droughty and the heat did have trouble keeping the room warm. This is to be expected as these features are hard to change in an old building. The biggest issue I have is that we were going for a weekend in Pembroke and the hotel description said 'city center' which it is not - there was really nothing around the hotel within walking distance so you either had to drive the few miles to Pembroke, pay to park and then drive back. Or you were sort of stuck at the hotel - the food is passable - but the service was fantastic.

Nice hotel in this part of WalesPosted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: Restaurant, Sports and spa facilities
Cons: No comments
We really had a great time here and very much enjoyed the facilities. The only comment we would make, is that it is not invalid friendly. There are no lifts or elevators and there are plenty of stairs [which is strange in the day and age - where premises have been adapted]. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

Certainly worth a revisitPosted Sep 10, 2011
From the moment we set foot in this hotel the welcome and friendliness of the hotel staff was superb, they were all ready to go the extra mile to make our stay a great experience. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and locally sourced. It made our stay in beautiful Pembrokeshire a memorable experience.
