An oasis ....Posted Nov 4, 2013
Location: Town centre ...
Parking was a bit tricky. Reception was efficient and pleasant. Room was interestingly furnished with mood lighting etc - it was very clean. The Restaurant food was first class albeit appointed in somewhat 'busy' surroundings. Highly recommended is the 'Albondigas' starter. The Restaurant and bar staff were very attentive and most pleasant. What I had failed to realise was that my rear facing room had zero view and, seemed to be about 20 feet from a very busy railway line. However, I guess the good food and the Rioja compensated and I slept reasonably well. If I revisit I would prefer a room at the front of the property.

Easy access to SwanseaPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Very comfortable room. Quiet despite being near railway lines.
Cons: Parking availability. There were few spaces, often resulting in cars being blocked in.
Location: Train station is 2 min away. Faster, easier, and cheaper to get in to Swansea than is driving.
Many North Americans are... surprised bybthe often small accommodations foubd in Europe. That isn't a problem with the Bluebell Hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, even by N.A. standards. The whole hotel is very modern and chic. The Welsh full breakfast offered by the hotel restaurant is very good - and will leave you full. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful.

Lovely HotelPosted Oct 5, 2013
Cons: Sound proofing
Location: Neath doesn't offer much as a small town but good rail connection to Swansea.
Well appointed rooms although the noise of the railway line woke me at 5am, lovely hotel and the staff extremely helpful, I've stayed in 6 hotels in the last year and I can honestly say the breakfast at the Bluebell Hotel is the best breakfast I've had, quality ingredients freshly prepared and excellent service, only wished I booked dinner there the night before.

lovely hotelPosted Sep 4, 2013
excellent hotel from the welcoming receptionist the beautifully decorated and furnished room to the outstanding reasonably priced food. the only negative I have about this hotel was that we stayed in room 304 at the front of the hotel which was extremely noisy into the early hrs I am sure we would have been moved if we had asked but it was late and we couldn't be bothered there is also no internet connection in this room but again when we mentioned this to the receptionist she offered to move us i will definitely be staying again just in another room

Couldn't sleep during my stay at this hotelPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: Sound proof windows!
This hotel is situated at the centre of the Neath town beside several night clubs and discos. The hotel does not have sound proof windows and myself and my wife couldn't sleep till 4:00 in the morning for the duration of our stay because of the noise that was coming from outside. They should have informed us of this problem or they could give us a room on the other side of the building. When I complained to the staff they told me I should use a ear plug! The room had a strange smell as well which was quite annoying.

Absolute Gem of a place to stay!!Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a really nice hotel to stay in if you are visting Neath or Swansea are. We stayed there for one night and were visting Gower peninsula and Swansea. The rooms are really upto 4-5 star standard. The breakfast is also very nice and is served in their meditterranean restuarant which is very nicely done. Overall a brilliant place to stay in !!.

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights, it was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and had a lovely sleep due to the blackout curtains. Great channels on the tv also, room was very clean and tidy! Air con was also provided so we couldnt get to hot. Breakfast was good, full english breakfast we had and it was really nice with a massive portion of it. Hotel staff were very friendly. Would stay here again 10/10 couldnt complain:)
