Staff couldn't do enough for you, so friendly and helpful..i also got a free upgrade as i was here for nine days for work.I enjoyed the breakfast which was a great selection of hot and cold and the giant pool, steam room, sauna and two jacuzzis were great. A good choice for families too

Comfortable and friendlyPosted Mar 3, 2015
Good location near to the city. Nice range of facilities including gym, swimming pool and steam room. Very friendly staff at the door. Took care of any issues we had. Would definitely stay there again the next time I come to Swansea.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the cityPosted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: We like the location and the rooms and facilities are excellent.
Cons: The worst thing about this hotel is that the bar staff need to be trained in how to pour the drinks correctly and in the correct glasses.
Location: Good shopping in the city. Nice to take a number 2 bus out along the Gower coast and walk along the coast path. Had an enjoyable evening in Garbo's.
We like this hotel as it is really quiet but is within easy walking distance of the city centre. We have stayed there now on three occasions and the rooms and facilities are excellent. We especially like the pub atmosphere of the Victory bar but the bar staff definitely need more training in how to serve the drinks. On the first night, we had lager served in a normal pint sleever glass. There was no head on it at all and it was so flat it was impossible to drink. On the second night (having given up on the lager) we had gin and tonics served in half pint glasses! Having worked in bars for many years, I know how important it is that drinks are served in the appropriate glasses. It's a shame as the staff are all very friendly and proper training would improve things considerably. We spent the rest of the evening over at the Waterfront bar attached to the Premier Inn and in Garbo's bar on the waterfront, where they served lager with a head and in the proper glasses with the 'fizzers' in the bottom - much more palatable!

Nice Day For A White Wedding.Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: I liked the rooms.....comfortable. Couch folded down for kids. All good. Giant bed.
Cons: The noise of room doors banging.
Location: Didn't leave the hotel much.....had a busy time with the wedding and mixing with lots of new relatives.
Had a wonderful time being there for a few days to enjoy my daughter's wedding. The food was good, breakfast, dinner and lunch in both The Verve and Viceroy. I like Urban Village Hotels.....have always found the beds comfortable and toiletries of good quality. Throw in a Starbucks.....:) Magic.

Clean, warm & comfortable but noisy at night.Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Warm & clean. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Put tea making facility next to TV where it can be seen! A room for 2 people should have 2 bath towels in room.
Location: Good location with lovely beaches nearby.
Desperate for tea/coffee on arrival but didn't think room had these facilities because they were not on show, found them on second day in a cupboard. Only one bath towel in bathroom for 2 people to use, most unhygienic!
