Convenient location, close to shops and eateries.Posted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Location. Staff friendliness. Overall cleanliness and comfort.
Cons: Ensuite was rather too compact.
Location: Close to local shops and places to eat. Near to Dylan Thomas's family home and Cymdonkin Park.
The accommodation was perfect for a short stay in Swansea. It was about 15 minutes' walk to the centre and seaside, and also very close to Dylan Thomas's childhood home which I particularly wanted to visit. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast offered a good selection of healthy options.

Excellent hotel, good location but no car parking.Posted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: Excellent breakfast and internet access. Good value as a location for the Gower peninsula.
Cons: There is little scope for car parking to be allocated but the hotel should make the nature of parking availability more clear.
Location: The hotel is in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and a good location for visiting the Mumbles and attractions of the Gower peninsula.
I stay in many hotels through work but my visit to The White House was for pleasure. The decor is dated but comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Internet access (an increasingly important facility) was good (from room 5) and free of charge. My only issue was with car parking - there is no private parking. It is misleading for the Hotel to state is has "free parking" as they have no parking to offer. All parking is on street where you have to take your chances with the local residence. That said, I would consider using this hotel again and would recommend it.

Excellent hotel, will definitely be backPosted Aug 1, 2013
This was my third visit to the White House, and it was as good as ever. The rooms are very comfortable, and there are a wide range of options for breakfast. The only negative thing is that you may have to walk up a few stairs, so keep this is mind when you're packing your suitcase. As we have stayed here previously, we try to minimize our luggage. Will be back next time we're in Swansea.

Great owners and staffPosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was staying there through work commitments but i also took my daughter and grandson along with me, as i was out at work for two days the owners and staff at the Hotel gave my daughter all the help she needed in getting to local beaches in and around Swansea. We had a family room which was very comfortable and very clean with everything in it to make your stay that little bit more special. My thanks go out to all at the Hotel and i am looking forward to returning again.

Exactly What We WantedPosted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
When the three of us showed up in Swansea, we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arriving at the hotel, we found a super-friendly host who was full of useful information that he was more than willing to share with us. We didn't really make plans before coming, and so the advice went a long way towards firming up our itinerary. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the service was excellent. If we ran into any trouble with the room, the staff were all over it right away. The room was awesome, and always cleaned by the time we came back from our excursions. Overall we were so, so happy with our experience, we hated to leave. Thanks so much for an amazing time!

Great little B&B !
Ideal for short stay.Posted Feb 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very surprised by the quality of the hotel for a very reasonable rate. I spend a lot of time travelling around the country and staying in hotels and was extremely pleased with the overall quality of this one in the heart of Swansea. The room was very small but that wasn't a problem as I only needed a place to sleep after a night out in the town for a mates stag do. Glad I chose to pay half the price that I would have paid to stay at the premier inn!!!

Very Pleasant StayPosted Dec 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
A nice friendly place to stay. Cosy room, but as a solo traveller it suited me just fine. The Tasty breakfast was freshly prepared to order. Street Parking. I'd stay here again.

Good hotel, bit noisyPosted Oct 7, 2012
Pros: Bed v comfy
Location: Right by main road
It was fine, just not told about turning hearing down overnight so couldn't open window as it was too noisy.
