I had an event at this hotel so stayed here for convenience the night before. It was a great place, very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast in the morning too. I also had lunch here the following day and it was wonderful too. Parking was easy. Nothing to fault. Would recommend this place and would stay here again any day.

Everything was fantastic with this hotel. The staff were great, the rooms were fantastic.
My only issue was that my bed (twin double room) was uncomfortable. As we only stayed
one night, this wasn't too much of an issue however…..

"Beautiful mid century style hotel close to shops "
I chose 420 Punt as the place to get ready before my wedding. Sarah and the staff were all so accommodating, greeting us with a bottle of sparkling on arrival and offering their assistance wherever they could. The guesthouse is just amazing, furnished beautifully which provided a great back drop for photos. On return to the hotel after the wedding, my husband and I even found a present from 420 Punt in the room to say congratulations, how very thoughtful!
The bed was so very comfy and the rooms were a great size. I'll definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Visiting family nearby, this was a great place to stay. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. Apartment was attractively decorated and was well set up, clean and warm (during a rather chilly and often damp Melbourne week), and, as it is set back from the road, was quiet despite proximity to the main rail line and busy Commercial Rd. It also was very secure. Prahan Market, Coles & Woolworths are about 5 minutes walk if getting supplies to eat in. Buy a Myki pass at the 7/11 in Chapel St (turn left from Commercial Rd) or at the Prahan Central Station which is about 7 minutes direct walk from Quest Prahan. It's a 3 station/6-8 min train ride to Flinders Station opp. Federation Square. nearby are plenty of cafes etc if you want to eat out or great charge-back order-in food available. We recommend Versacchis for gourmet pizzas at very reasonable prices.
Minor quibbles would be about cooking equipment - a steamer top for one or both of the 2 saucepans would be most handy as cooking options are somewhat limited otherwise. The chair and couch were a bit soft/saggy (though very tidy), as was the queen bed which made for a rather downhill sleep (though we are not overweight) and sitting up in bed was uncomfortable - perhaps time for an upgrade? Also an electric blanket would be great for the colder months. That aside, we'd certainly be happy to stay at Quest Prahan again and would recommend it to family and friends.
