Restful weekend

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: I felt at home. Loved the free coffee in the lobby.
Cons: Clarification on breakfast would be nice. I paid for the bed and breakfast and was disappointed. There was no omlette station.
Location: Local shopping, Friendly's across the street.
We stay in the area annually for a conference. It is great to see improvements happening, as the decor is outdated. That being saig, this hotel is very charming. My daughter and I looked forward to coming back to our room to relax after being in seminars all day. The restaraunt is decent, pool is great, and staff is very friendly. The hallways can be noisy at night, but overall it was a good stay.

Hotel has the historic look to it, but clean. Hotel receptionists very friendly. Bar inside hotel had good food for a quick bite to eat. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms were clean.

Good value hotel

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: several nice big fireplaces to sit by on a cold night is very pleasant.
Cons: real maple sirup at the breakfast buffet
Location: I stay here when I visit family, so not spending excessively is important to me, and I think Heritage Village is a good bargain.
Very comfortable, very reasonably priced. All staff members I encountered, from the front desk to house keeping were as pleasant as could be. On a very cold January evening it was wonderful having a glass of wine sitting at the fire place.

Convenient and nice indoor pool

Posted Jan 5, 2015
We have stayed here a number of times. Young son likes the indoor pool in the winter. Facilities need upgrading and they are now in the process. Should be much nicer when they are done in the spring.

Nice location on a quiet road.

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: It had a classy ambiance without a heavy price.
Cons: They could add a light continental breakfast without hurting the restaurant business.
Location: Only 3 miles from the on ramp of I-84. I was there to visit family, not tour the area but the hotel was in an historic area.
There was only a coffee bar in the morning but they had a restaurant with full breakfast.

It works ...

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas 2014. The hotel is starting top show its age but was in the process of renovation while we were there and the renovation work looks good. Even though it is old, everything works well, the rooms were very clean and every member of staff we came across was very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I'd definitely go back.

Great Getway

Posted Nov 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Considering the price I paid on Hotels.com, the hotel was great value for money; the package included breakfast. The staff was very accommodating and there was no request they were not polite and friendly in answering. Breakfast in the big dining room was great. They had nice, real fireplace going off the main lobby which I always find enjoyable. Indoor pool, small but very adequate weight room, and ping pong and billiard tables were another plus.

Comfortable & a good value

Posted Nov 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel is in a rural setting. Very little traffic and quite. Quick, friendly check in. Room alarm clock was set for 5 am which was quickly turned off. AC was set at 65, it was 30 outside. Room was clean & bed very comfortable. Noisy middle school girl's sports team was running up & down the hall & slamming doors until 9:30 pm. There was a wedding reception being held. We never heard any music or saw any of the guests. Parking was at the very end of the lot because of the reception, but the lot is well lighted. We did not eat at the hotel as there are several good restaurants in the area. Booked again to stay next month. Very good value.

Nice place

Posted Nov 17, 2014
I stayed there with my family and had a nice stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the amenities are nice. Some parts of the hotel are a bit worn such as the hallway carpet, but that is minor. Will definitely come back again.
