“Overlooking Plymouth Harbor”
We had a room on the second level with a public balcony that looked out over the harbor. It was relaxing watching the boats and people go by. Location was great. Hotel had new management and was undergoing renovations. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would stay there again!
“"Can't wait to go back",”
The room was neat and comfortable. the service was pleasant and accommodating. I had no issues with the staff whatsoever. The door handles have to be jiggled a little but got it. A few minor outside maintenance issues, but it is a large building with a lot to cover so there will always be issues. A nice continental breakfast with pastries, and coffee.
“"overpriced"”
placed incorrectly to smoking room initially, no seaview, changed to room w. not so clean bathtub, sticky furniture surfaces, nonfunctioning dirty fridge, wigly table, linen just arrived from dryer..., musty odor, uhh...price does not correspond w. reality delivered...
“worst place I've ever stayed at”
The view was the only thing good about this place. Many things broken in the rooms. No standard amenities (iron, hairdryer) Had a fridge in the room--but that was broken. The hallway areas & stairwells were so disgustingly dirty it looks like they've never been swept. To top it off, when we arrived back at the room for the evening there were no parking spots available! How can you have a place where you rents rooms with insuffficent parking. Worst money ever spent!!! Governor Bradford would be ashamed to knwo of this as his namesake.
“Don't recommend!”
There were bugs in the sink and sheets did not seem clean!
“Location, Location”
Accomodations are nothing fancy, but location overlooking Plymouth Harbor and within walking distance of downtown area is a definite plus.
“Looking forward to return.”
Will be returning in future, but will be different time of the year. 40 degree days with 40 mph was a bit chilly. Walked several miles around town since hotel was in a good location. Eating was terrific at the cafe near by and at the harbor.
“Not plush but meets basic needs”
Clean room and bathroom, small fridge and coffee maker in room was a plus. great view from waterfront room, close to everything. Friendly staff. Light continental breakfast. Wifi only available in lobby, however I found that it could be used in my room also but the signal was always low so long downloads would not be possible but ok for checking emails. This is not a plush hotel but it meets basic needs.
“will never go back”
The first room had a roof leak and the door had to be forced to open. the second rooms ceiling had leaked at sometime as it was badly water stained. both rooms smelt of mould. Carpets had not been hoovered before or during stay. Spider webs under table and chairs. Bedding was sub-standard. Not enough towels despite requests for more. Light fixings didn't work. breakfast was sub-standard, the only alternative to toast or pastries for a person with wheat intollerance was 1 apple in a bowl. Cold coffee and tea, toaster was not effective and bread had to be done several times to get colour. In short we would have been better walking out the minute we saw the first room and no amount of inducement would get us back to this shabby hotel.
“You get what you pay for”
Very average.
