Suburban hotel with good road links

Hotel chains are hotel chains, but that doesn't make them all the same. This Holiday Inn Express is good by chain standards. It had a respectable hot breakfast - not just the usual toasted bagels and coffee available all day, and even apple cider in the afternoons when I was there,. Staff were helpful, The gym (heavily in use when I saw it) has a reasonable sized indoor pool adjacent. Westgate Drive is a bit of a muddle of retail and industrial, but the hotel has good access to MA28 and I93.

Nice stay at a good price

Pros: Extra mirrors outside the bathroom very handy for getting ready in the morning. Great counter space in the bathroom. Room and hotel were very clean.
Cons: Bathroom area very small, very short shower with safety bar in the way of where you stand to shower. Not much leg room. Minimal space in bedroom.
Location: Handy mall shopping across the street, anything that you may need. Short travel to sight seeing.
The staff was very friendly, focused on their jobs and kept an exceedingly clean hotel. Reasonably priced. Very quiet, even though our room was across from the elevator. Never heard it at night, great sound proofing in the hallway. Hot breakfast with many choices included, made the stay very nice. No one left the hotel hungry!

An enjoyable business trip

Pros: I did very like Breakfast selection and free wi fi in room.
Cons: Can be improved the smell of the rooms.
After locking up my car in the big parking lot in front of the main entrance I was pleased of the hambient and the nice reception. All did look very clean and new. My room was at ground floor and I had to walk quite a bit to find mine since the lobby is at the very beginning of a long corridor. The room was clean but it did not smell super fresh. Toilette and bath was quite ok. I did get the double bed room. Bed was comfortable. Since I had to be at ground floor I decided to keep the blind courtains closed. I prefer when is possible to keep the open. Breakfast did offer a very wide selection of choices. From bacon to muffin. hat was very good. Quality of food was ok. The experience was good considering of the fact that I could checking for my flight the next day from the room thank to the free access wi fi, and I could print my boarding pass next to the breakfast area. If I need to get back there I will surely check availability for a room there.

Good Hotel @good price

We like our stay in the hotel but not go back as we think it's not toddler/child friendly. During the night when I used the rest room, I could see big black ants rolling on the floor. Thankfully I was awake and I could see them and hot rid of couple but then I could see couple more (wish I would have taken the picture). On a third day in the morning I could see more ants and a crawling creature bug... This time I took a picture and video in case anyone wants to see... I shown the video to a staff at reception before checking out. The breakfast was sub standard as well - I would say a b&b in Europe would have better breakfast. The staff at the reception and breakfast area was very friendly and coorpertive and it's unfortunate that hotel has pest control issue with ants and crawling bugs...

The staff was amazingly nice!!! They were easy checkin and check out really love how we were close to boston 20 mins! Close to everything! Will Definately come back!!

Pros: Front desk staff was especially welcoming. Bed was very comfortable.
Location: very close to shopping restaurants and gas stations.
My only debit in the rating is their location which is adjacent to the WestGate shopping area. Convenient for some no doubt - but too close for comfort for me.

Hmm mixed feelings

The front desk personnel were wonderful. We received out room and I immediately noticed that the carpet by the bathroom was saturated with water told housekeeping twice and they ignored. We used 12 towels that night to be able to walk in to the bathroom. Told the front desk and they were to inform housekeeping and maintenance supervisor. Very apologetic. Could not offer another suite as there were none. Did offer a 2 queen bed room but we paid for a suite. Needless to say you can only imagine how this carpet stank as it dried. I bought room spray but it was not strong enough. Front desk gave us a bottle of industrial stuff. Shower stall had black mold in corners. Location was good but would not recommend or stay again.
