Decent Hotel close to Xfinity Centre, Foxborough

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Room was clean, service was good, price was right
Cons: Some updates to the facilities and rooms, heat the pool
Location: Xfinity Centre, Gillette Stadium, Wrentham outlets, Boston
Hotel was reasonably priced, relative to others in the area. The outdoor pool was not heated and didn't appear overly clean when we went to use it, however it was Sept 8th so chances are not many people are interested in swimming that time of year! The room was clean and comfortable but the hallways were dated and smelled musty; almost a stale smoke smell, even though the hotel was a non-smoking facility now. Also no continental breakfast was served, although they did have free coffee and tea. We really only spent our evenings there, shopping and visiting Boston during the days. We also attended a concert at the nearby Xfinity Centre - maybe a 5 minute drive away. Just be prepared - it took us about 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot after the show.

Pros: Beds were firm
Cons: offer breakfast, more modern carpet & bath room facilities.
Overpriced for what the hotel offers! Felt as though I was staying at a very low end motel.

Nice hotel, 10-15 mintues from Gillette Stadium

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Location.
Close to Gillette, took back roads and avoided a lot of traffic going home from the game. Comfortable bed and clean room. Room was large, plenty of space. Refrigerator and microwave located in room along with spacious desk.

Needs some changes but overall OK.

We told them 4 adults and there were not enough towels/shampoo/soap for that. Also, the housekeeping tried to get into our room at 10am before we had even checked out, which is at noon.

Ok but disappointed

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Close to Gilette stadium. Took a back way in and missed a lot of traffic.
Cons: Update carpeting in hallways. Get queen beds instead of double. Put little bottles of shampoo & conditioner in rooms.
For $200.00 per night I expected shampoo and conditioner. We did not bring any because the hotels always have little bottles and The Red Roof did not. Beds were comfortable but small, doubles instead of queens. Ok to hang your head to just sleep after a concert, but would not stay again.

Way to costly.

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
$400 for 3 nights? Must have been the One Direction concert. Spent that much at the Radisson on Plymouth harbor the previous 3 days! Wouldn't spend more that $80 a night for this place. The pool was cloudy and nasty. Not enough towels for 4. 2 bath, 1 hand, and 1 washcloth The vent in the bathroom did not work and actually let in dirty musty smell. The place just sucked.

Pros: The location worked well for us to get to Gillette stadium.
Cons: New bedding and pillows would be a nice improvement. I used the stairway to reach my room and found the stairwell to be a bit dirty and worn.
The exterior of the hotel was not very attractive, but the interior was ok. I was disappointed that the beds had thin bedspreads and uncomfortable pillows. I forgot my shampoo and when I called the front desk they were out of shampoo.
