Good City Hotel in good location.
An excellent hotel, very easy to locate and close to main centre of Freiburg without being noisy. Room and breakfast excellent and all staff were very welcoming. Would stay again.

Great location, staff was very accommodating for us and our toddler and dog. Electric car parking in basement included with parking fee. Let us ark there after check out while we explored the city. Great tacos at yeppa yeppa in walking distance!

We were very impressed with the comfort & service. Staff was extremely attentive & friendly. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The only area of opportunity was the occasional smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby & staircase.

We arrived at 1:00 and they were determined not to let us check in until 3:00, first hotel not to let us check in early. Breakfast made up for it, one of the best we have experienced in Europe. Parking garage hard to locate, needed help. Receptionist were great.

Nice clean, centrally located (it's in the name!) Hotel. Friendly staff, and great breakfast! Parking is really limited, but there's plenty of pay parking nearby (nothing free in the city center).

The Central Hotel was perfect for a weekend trip to Freiburg. The location is great for spending time in the Old City and a quick walk from the train station. The hotel is very nice for the cost, and the staff provided a take-away breakfast when I had to leave before the actual breakfast time. My only suggestion is to provide coffee in the room in addition to tea. Otherwise my stay was great!

Hotel centrally located in beautiful Freiburg. Room is clean and spacious. Bathroom was huge and super clean. Amazing breakfast with cold and hot items. I will definitely return to Central Hotel on my next visit to Freiburg.

Outstanding in all aspects.
We were a group of five visiting Freiburg to celebrate 65 years and all it entails. The hotel was outstanding. Service throughout the hotel - reception, breakfast, room, bar, night staff - was of a similar, welcoming, helpful, interested and equal quality across all areas; first class. The rooms were well appointed, clean and impeccably maintained. Breakfast was both copious and delicious; a wide range that more than catered for all tastes. You'll not leave hungry. The hotel is ideally located close to both Munsterplatz, team transport and the downtown shopping area. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 'must for if visiting Freiburg.

The staff at the hotel were so welcoming which really makes you want to stay there. The room was great and the breakfast provided was also awesome. Overall, this is definitely an affordable place that will not make you unhappy.

Very Central Hotel - worth finding
Overnight stay on way back to eastern Switzerland. Sat Nav failed to get us to the hotel but once we got there lucky to get a very convenient parking spot. Friendly and helpful check in. Room bijou with a cozy shower room- dated but generally clean decor. Location is the big selling point - minutes walk from everywhere within the ‘old town’ - which is great to walk around with interesting looking independent shops, and cafes (why so many shoe shops??) Hotel is very central so weekend, late night noises could be heard as early morning revellers return home... Breakfast was impressive array of continental fare.

Great Hotel
Located in a very good place in Freiburg, close to shops restaurants and ~7 minutes walk to the train station. Hotel stuff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast tasted good, many options to choose from. The hotel has 4 floors and the elevator reaches only to the 3rd floor. To get to the 4th floor you need to climb the stairs (it wasn't a problem for us). The rooms on the 4th are very quiet and big with comfortable beds, they have only one small window. we enjoyed very much from our stay there

Outstanding boutique hotel. Should be rated 5 stars. Breakfast buffet was elaborate and delicious. Tables are set with beatiful dishes and silver accessories. Delightfû atmosphere throughout. Very well located close to center of old town and 10 minute walk from train station. Highly recommend.

This hotel was just "okay" for us. Two things were superb: the customer service agents and breakfast variety. We stayed in this hotel in September and the rooms felt extremely hot. A/C doesn't do a good job. The room was clean but the furniture is old. Noise could be heard at 6 A.M. from construction workers in the nearby area. WIFI was the worst compared to the other 3 hotels we stayed in while visiting the area. Don't count on it at all. Simply printed it will NOT be available for you. In addition, this hotel is NOT a very easy walk from the train station. We ended up calling a taxi.

The place to stay in Freiburg
Reception staff were friendly and helpful with great dining recommendations. They made us comfortable in the lounge with coffee while we waited for our room. Breakfast was delicious and served in an elegant room. The location is very close to the town center and a short taxi ride to the train station. Beds are very comfortable.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Single room was small, not overly comfortable, with some noise from above. Not a lot of good eating places in Freiburg, mostly kebabs, pizza and pasta. Worth renting the hotel bike and getting into the countryside, which is lovely, as the centre is spoiled with building works.

Convenient and clean hotel in the centre of town
We arrived on the 2nd last day of the year in Freiburg early in the evening during a cold winterday. Looking at the photos, we had expected an old historic building but this was not the case after it turned out that the photo appeared ro be a shot of the old centre. Anyway, we had 2 rooms for our party of 5 and this inluded an additional bed in one of the rooms. The rooms were suffiently large and clean. Parking for our car was provided infront of the hotel. The Central Hotel is conveniently situated in th centre of town. Breakfast provided was excellent with very friendly staff.

My wife and I had a very nice experience at Central Hotel last night. Check-in was easy and the guy was very helpful. The bar was open late and they had great suggestions for traditional German restaurants which were spot on.
