Upon arrival the bed had hair all over it. They charge $25 for the same breakfast everyday. The restaurant was closed my entire stay. Stay somewhere else!!

Everything about this property is beyond exceptional and beyond expectation especially the concierges. The train station is situated at the most convenient spot and most stores for my essential needs were close by. Overall rating from 1-10 would be a 10.

With in walking distance of train and other convivences. Although the bathrooms were modern, the shower did not have place to sit, allowed water to leave shower area. You are asked to hang towels to dry but they only allow for 1 towel bar.

Excellent property. It was super convenient - across from the train station. We also appreciated that they offered late food service at the bar even on a Sunday night. The room was impeccable and really reasonable by US standards. There’s lots of nearby shopping and you can easily walk all of Freiburg Altstadt from the hotel. There is also parking underneath if needed. Loved it!

Don't think ac means what you think it means.
Staff at the desk was very nice. But the room's air conditioning did not work great, it never got cool which made it difficult to sleep in the summer. It also wasn't really a break from the heat of the outdoors when needed. I know it's Germany, and AC is like nowhere to be found but I booked specifically because it had AC listed. Also, the fridge was warmer than the room. So... made it so we couldn't even really get cold drinks to cool down either. They were good about giving us some ice, but I feel like the fridge should you know, refrigerate. That said, hotel is in a great location near Bahnhof and Stadtmitte. I'm not sure I wouldn't try another hotel nearby that might have better ac, but this option would be fine probably another time of year.

Basic and not inviting. They don't even give you a tea cup, but rather a paper cup. Not an enjoyable stay. Also our fridge didn't work, all the food was spoiled there, no apology or compensation.

I appreciate the fact that they accommodate people younger than 18 traveling on their own with permission of parents. Also very convenient close to the train station and downtown.

Great Property in Freiburg Close to the Train Station Hotel is new and modern. Quiet with great ambience and the furnishings were muted with a splash of color. Got a good deal on Expedia though couldn’t get my Marriott Bonvoy points. Expedia should work on this as they do with Airlines. Supposed to have been a prepaid booking but had to pay City Tax. Guess Expedia wasn’t aware. Breakfast was awesome too. All in all had a fantastic 2 nights stay. 🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊

This is a great hotel in perfect location across the street from main train station, and city tram lines. It’s 5-6 min walk to the old city and cathedral. Hotel is new, modern, clean, and the staff are great.

Great option in Freiburg
Great and modern hotel with easy access to everything. Breakfast felt expensive, (25 EUR pp) and until the end I couldn't get WiFi to work on my MacBook and iPhone (my husband's iPad and MacBook connected though).

Everything perfect except a bit of user error
The hotel was immaculate We bought the breakfast and while it was a bit pricey, it was well worth it. A nice assortment of both German and American favorites. The only nit was that while our room window did open, it was of German design and we initially thought the windows didn't open because the mechanism to open it was off to the side. Once we spotted it, the window opened easily, but that was the 2nd day.

Very close to the station so a great hub for getting around the Black Forest. The hotel seemed brand new and was kept spotless. Was missing some items to make you feel more at home such as China cups/mugs. You were given paper cups. But this is a business hotel.

Amazing location - just next to the main Train station in the city. It was within 5-7 minutes walk to the City center area with full of shops, restaurants and hangout places - City center seems to be alive with people most of the time. The tram stops are very nearby & these trams are so very very convenient to get around the different parts of the city - this tram aspect is very important & made my stay here in Freiburg very very convenient. Btw, if you end up using the tram a lot, buy the Day pass ticket everyday instead of the single ride tickets. All kinds of stores are nearby - like grocery stores, pharmacies, food spots including starbucks, etc in the main train station building just 50-meters away is very convenient. The room was very clean & daily room service helps a lot definitely. Very good breakfast buffet service - very cozy & beautiful breakfast & bar area. Overall, a very nice hotel to stay in Freiburg & very very convenient location for everything I feel. I would stay here again multiple times unless I find something right in the City center area.

Very comfortable stay right at the edge of the old town and a black away from the main train station. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were knowledgeable and kind. I did email the hotel before arriving and never received a response from them. Breakfast was delicious but pricey.

Modern property very near the train station and easily walkable to Old town (5 mins). Rooms were standard in layout but very up to date as it's a newer property and pretty comfortable and good sized. Parking directly under the building.

Nice, clean and comfortable
The stay was nice. We expected a nice clean and comfortable room from Marriott, and we got the same. The hotel is about 15-20 min walk from the old town. Parking is shared with a bank next to it so it was a bit tricky to spot initially. We didn’t try the restaurant but there’s a shop there to buy essentials in case you forget. We didn’t get much information about the area or recommendations from the hotel, so do your own research :)

Over from the U.K., the hotel is in a great location which is less then a 1min walk from the station, the main station you can see from the hotel entrance. Staff spoke wonderful English and couldn’t do anymore if I asked. Perfect stay, hotel was clean, felt really safe.

Convenient, well priced stay
Convenient location near the main train station, walk for about 5 min. You can also walk to the town centre for shopping (not much food options there). Comfortable stay in a good sized room with modern amenities such as strong WiFi and a smart TV to cast content from your mobile devic.
