Hotel great. Service great. Staff great. Location sucks. Mad at Hotels.com. It’s not a beach hotel. Beach at least 45 minutes away downtown with no parking. Area near hotel rough. No restaurants nearby accept at hotel.

Hotel was perfect but the location is far away from the old city, the oictures on the website doesn't show how close we are from the "boulevard" with high traffic, the pictures show a swimming pool much bigger than what it is.

Nice hotel, really clean
Really nice hotel close to Ajaccio city center. Really nice pool as well. Our room was spatious and clean and really confortable. Convenient hotel when you have a flight early the next morning

Nice Relaxing stay on edge of Ajaccio centre
Quiet room - Junior suite but very sparse on soft furnishings. No spoon for coffee. Had to request additional beverage supplies from reception, but not a problem. Enjoyed eve meal in adjacent grill restaurant. No other decent places to eat nearby.

Pool is the only good thing about this hotel. Staff gave us incorrect information about a taxi to the airport. We were told on check in it costs EUR 20- our taxi driver had a laminated piece of paper that stated it was EUR 25. We didn't have this on us, and it caused a BIG issue with the taxi driver when we got to the airport. (23 EUR was unacceptable!) Cleanliness was ok, except when my friend trod in broken glass at the pool bar. The broken glass continued to stay on the floor for another 10 mins before someone came out and cleaned it up- no sign or warning for other customers, except for us watching out. And because of poolside rules, no shoes were allowed, so it was dangerous. My friend is lucky she didn't cut herself. Everything is grossly overpriced (as expected for a chain hotel). Overall, wish we'd stayed elsewhere.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the hotel as part of a celebration holiday. We would like to thank the management for taking the trouble to have our room set up with flowers and towels decorated in romantic shapes on our arrival. We have experienced this on cruises but it was a lovely start to the stay. We had a nice room overlooking the bay and the breakfast was excellent. Yes, it is a 40 minute walk to the centre, but there is a regular and cheap bus. After 7 there is free parking in town. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great hotel
Excellent hotel with great suite. Ajaccio is a lovely centre for the west of Corsica. It lies very close to the mountainous area. The hotel lies across the bay and is a 40 minute or so walk on the flat but is hot with only some shade in the afternoon. However there are buses every 15 minutes or so to the centre. They cost 1 e per person per way and are great if no car. A car hire helps a lot to get around and this area is lovely to explore to the south and south east but roads are slow even the most major is only one lane each way with switchbacks so it can take a speed of about 30mph max. Lots of great restaurants in the centre especially near the citadel. Good shops. The beach mentioned 5 minute walk away is very dubious however. The main hotel restaurant is from the Coutepaille franchise, but actually is very good. We went 3 days out of 5 and happy. Roads are a bit to frenetic for cycles.

Very nice hotel
I think test was the best job done I've seen in a long time at check in. Very professional. Outstanding bathroom! Nice touches in the lobby: cookies, water and candies. Pretty nice room. Garage impeccable. Not too many restaurants around though.

Nice hotel but do not feel it is good value.
The hotel is very nice but very expensive as it is quite far from town (20-25 minute walk). I would expect these prices for this level of hotel to be in the centre of town. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the car park is a nice addition.

The associated restaurant, a chain, offered a very limited menu. Really my only complaint. In house breakfast was very good and staff always very friendly. I would stay again.

Comfortable hotel outside of town center
Nice hotel located outside of the town center. There is a local bus but it never came. Driving into the center is frustrating--long traffic lines and limited parking. Walking would take 30-40 minutes.

One night stay in Paradise
We rode the ferry from Toulon to Ajaccio and so we arrived early, but our room wasn't ready. The receptionist took my phone number and called me about 1 1/2 hours later letting me know our room was ready. The room was large and very comfortable and the view across the sea was spectacular from the pool.

Not really a hotel
This is an apartment-hotel. It has a view of the golf of Ajaccio, but there is the national road between the Western and the sea....very noisy. The room was not ready on time. They asked us to sit and wait a few minutes, but they forgot we were there! I finally had to go back to the registration desk. The bed was supposed to be a queen size, and it was not. But they assured us that this was a queen size in France! Come on.... The first night, there was a party going on the outside terrace, until the wee hours. Great to have a clam night. Good if you have a family or a student and want to cook in-house We thought it was highly overrated.
