At checkin they pushed me to pay a bit extra for an upgraded room, which I did since that included parking (otherwise you have to buy that separately). Room was spacious even by American standards; by European standards it was massive. It is directly across from the royal palace and my room had a fantastic view from the balcony. I did, however, have trouble finding the hotel as I was driving around on the wrong side of the palace. My upgraded room had vaulted ceiling, small safe, mini bar, wifi,. There is a coffee maker and a separate hot water maker for tea, plus a corkscrew. Bathroom had heated towel rack, robes and slippers, and a separate shower and bathtub, plus toilet and bidet. Breakfast buffet is very generous with lots of options. Only complaint is parking garage is a bit tight (which I experienced throughout Spain).

The staff were all without exception very friendly and helpfull, even though we did not speak Spanish. That was a highlight. I was disappointed that the sauna was not in operation in the gym. The excuse this was due to the risk of Covid is not plausibel. There is no recorded case of someone catching Covid in a sauna and no one was wearing masks in the hotel anyway. It seems this is only a measure to reduce cost for the hotel, then you should be honest and reduce the cost of the accomodation. Also there was no water available at all in the gym, although there was an empty fridge. In summary not the 5 star experience I expected.

Hotel has a unique location facing the royal palace. It's in easy walking distance to the most important sights:palace, island park,parterre park, plazas,san antonio church,etc. Lots of restaurant nearby. Highly recommend hotel's breakfast. The libby bar is cozy and nice. We got an upgrade into a suite,with wonderful palace view! The rooms are very well equiped with everything we need. The shower is nice. The rooms are really quiey. We never heard any noise even on a fully booked night. The staffs were very welcoming and helpful, going extra miles to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you! We highly recommend the NH Collection Palacial at Aranjuez.

Ver convenient and comfortable hotel. Disappointing to see so much graffiti and litter surrounding hotel and the palace. Food in the hotel was great which was good as locally there were only a few good restaurants. Not only did not get an upgrade but got up sold on an upgrade which covered parking.

All the staff bend over backwards to make our stay most comfortable and enjoyable it is our GO TO hotel when traveling between South and North Europe by car. The front desk always help us in any way they can. As for Giovanny at the bar and restaurant I can only say one word in Spanish……divino! The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Aranjuez. Do not hesitate to book here!

Breakfast was excellent spoilt for choice. Staff really friendly and happy to help. Definitely would recommend and return. Town is lovely lots to see and do well worth visiting.

Excellent hotel in a good location
The view of the palace from our window was great, the room very comfortable, the shower excellent. Wonderful breakfast! The location couldn't have been more central - everything was within easy reach. Very happy to have secure underground parking. All in all, impressed with the hotel.

NOT PET FRIENDLY
This is a hotel that claims to be pet friendly but is not. Letting clients bring a pet but supplying no facilities is NOT pet friendly. No provision for dining with a pet inside or out. Told to eat dinner and breakfast in a central quandrangle with no tables laid, bring your own food and cutlery from the restaurant was the best they could suggest with no duty manager available to raise this with Plus no gold membership extras offered.....no upgrade (probably because of the dog) no free parking and no late check out offered. Message to the general manager...if you wish to present yourself as pet friendly I suggest you pay a visit to the El Toro Spa Hotel in Pamplona.....they will show you how its done. PET OWNERS DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Happy stay.
We chose to upgrade our room to make the most of the lovely view and the complimentary bathrobes etc. this also covers the cost of the secure parking. We enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were very conscientious and pleased to offer help. We would choose this hotel again. We had a lovely nights sleep after a long drive.

The hotel is very nice, clean and is in a great location. The lobby smells fantastic and rooms are very big, comfortable and super clean. Breakfast was great and had a few options. The area around the hotel is super safe and very close to the palace. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

Beautiful hotel with soaring ceilings directly in front of the palace, and every room was a small balcony. There is an abundance of free parking in front of the hotel. Free coffee and lotion is available upon request at reception, but it would be much better to have it automatically included in the hotel room before arrival... There was a problem with aggressive flies in the hotel but this is a result of the many linden trees surrounding the property. I highly recommend this hotel and will only return to NH for next time in Aranjuez

The location is the best available if you're main purpose is touring the palace and adjoining gardens -- no hotel is better situated. The spacious room on the second floor was ... interesting. VERY high ceilings, perhaps 16 feet or more. An interior door closes off the room from the whole bathroom area, increasing privacy and decreasing noise from the hallway -- a highly welcome touch. However, the corporate decor is getting dated in a hurry; very mid-1990s. The lack of amenities was strange: we had shampoo and soap, but no conditioner or lotion. Also, no bottled water. The Keurig espresso maker in the room is a solid touch, but you need to go down to the desk to ask for a kit containing the pods, along with teas and creamers/sugar. That's an odd trip to have to make, even in COVID times. Finally, we found the front-desk team to be diffident. Perhaps that's because we booked through a third-party site. But still, a little warmth and graciousness wouldn't hurt.

Reat hotel in disappointing location.
We felt safe and comfortable. Unfortunately we were stopping for only one night, en route home from Santander. We regretted not taking swimsuits in order to use the spa facilities. The restaurant meal was excellent as was the service . However the hotel is the best thing about Olmedo. So many of the old buildings are derelict and what coukd be a beautiful old town like Avila ir Teruel is depressing and neglected.

Try the rooms on the first floor ... they have full length windows over the palace. The corner room (not in the pictures) is amazing. My first stay was in room 221corner over the palace. The pictures attached are from room 319
