Pros: Breakfast and a comfortable room
Cons: Decorative shower curtain (missing vinyl liner) was too short and water splashed on bathroom floor. At checkout staff said "that's all they give us."
Location: Panther football in Charlotte and golf in Pinehurst.
Overall, a very pleasant stay

Great 1st stay and visit in Pinehurst,NCPosted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: Very accommodating staff, great location, Fantastic complimentary breakfast! Everyone was very pleased.
Cons: The pull out sofa could really use a new mattress! Springs could be felt every time you moved.
Location: Quaint local shops nearby. Walking distance to grocery store.
Staff was very accomadating, pleasant and courteous. Location was great - with grocery store just walking distance away. Room with free Wi-Fi made it easy for my group to finish up report details, check on family and send last minute e-mails. The room included a kitchenette supplied with just about all you would need for your stay. Beds - we're very comfortable. The offered complimentary breakfasts were absolutely made on site, sausage' eggs, French toast, even the maple syrup was of great flavor and consistency. Very pleased with the food. Easy check in and check out.

Homewood SuitesPosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: the pool, the patio, and dinner included.
Very nice facility. Staff was exceptional. Dinners was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed cocktails before dinner on the patio, and after the work day, it was nice to relax by the pool. I didn't even have to leave once I arrived after the work day

Nice Hotel, Expected Breakfast to be betterPosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great Hotel, very large room and comfortable. For the price of the hotel stay I expected to have a better breakfast. Not a whole lot of food to choose from and have had better breakfast's at other hotels in the area. Staff of the hotel was actually getting breakfast at the same time as guest's. Being in the service industry for more than 15 years, I know this is not standard. Normally staff is allowed to eat after the service is over. Breakfast schedule was from 6 to 9 and we were eating around 7:30 with staff getting and eating food at the same time.

Trip to look at real estatePosted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
We found the hotel very convenient to all amenities and neighborhoods in Pinehurst. While we knew to expect free food in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised by food being served, along with wine, in the evening a few times while we were there. Our needs were all met. The only area where the hotel could have done better was room cleaning. We noticed the floor in the bathroom was not clean.

quiet, clean, great servicePosted Jun 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was here for a four day professional meeting at a nearby hotel/resort. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived just in time to enjoy the complimentary dinner (including complimentary beer/wine) on Wednesday evening. This service is available M-Th - really convenient. It wasn't fancy, but it was a hot meal and I didn't have to venture out trying to find food after driving several hours. The room was comfortable, although the bed wasn't overly so. I really appreciate having a kitchenette so I can have some control over the cost/quality of food I eat while away from home. I also appreciate the vanity area of the bathroom being separate from the shower/toilet, and with storage space beneath the sink. I was actually able to unpack everything and feel reasonably organized during my stay. I used the fitness room once. Although it isn't very big, the equipment was nice (Precor) and it was well-kept and clean, with cold water and clean towels available.

elevator maintenancePosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Previous stay at Homewood was great as the location was suitable to my needs when I am in NC to visit my husband who is in an Alzheimers care facility. However this recent stay from 6/14- 6/21 was marred by sporadic elevator service from 6/14-6/20. As two seniors with arthritic knees we had to take the elevator on the opposite side of the building to the second floor and lug our suitcases up one flight of stairs to our third floor suite. The toilet in our suite backed up on the second night , fortunately maintenance responded immediately and the problem was solved in a timely manner. The elevator situation has dampened my enthusiasm for future stay at your facility as the elevator problem was inappropriately handled and should have been fixed a lot sooner.
