Not bad for the price

Pros: convienient location to food / beach.
Cons: new towels / hallway carpeting.
being a hotel person by trade, I was expecting worse conditions for the cost of the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the room. some items were a little worn, but the room was clean & staff was accomodating. It worked for us as a place to stay before & after our cruise. I would use this facility again.

Pros: The staff was wonderful!
Cons: The Hotel in general could use many, many improvements!! It is out-of-date!
Location: Location is o.k. not a bad walk to the ocean. Nearby Ron Jons, but had a walk to any restaurant.
The staff is outstanding! We had no table, no chairs in our two bedroom suite. No towel bar in the bathroom. No ocean view, and no balcony to sit on in the evening. This hotel also did not have a pool (a sister hotel down the road was available, but not convenient). Decorations were out of date.

Will be great after renovation

Pros: Staff, staff, staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive.
Cons: The carpets are gross and stained, as was the couch in our room.
Location: Easy walk to the beach and beachfront bars, across the street from several eateries.
Came for Spring Training week with my girlfriend. At first glance, we were worried by the condition of the carpets and couch and generally outdated look, but it was late so we decided to deal with it. Our refrigerator wasn't working, the ice machine wasn't working, and we were ready to look elsewhere for the rest of the week. However, the staff were spectacular, dealt with all the issues with a smile, and made our stay very enjoyable. The bed was brand new and very comfortable - the TV's were fine, and the bathroom was okay once we figured out that the hot water needed several minutes to get going. We also took advantage of the access to the neighboring pool at the Four Points, where we were told that the Cocoa Beach Suites would be getting a full renovation in the near future and would be one of the nicest properties on the strip. Overall it was ok - not great, but wonderful service with a smile makes a big difference if you are really just using the room to sleep.

My husband and I stayed here for three days for a business trip. The room was clean, it was within walking distance to the beach, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Its a older hotel but clean. We stayed for 5 nights. We stayed on the 5th floor oceanside. Nice view of the cruise boats leaving Port Canaveral. Very convenient location to beach (walking), Ron Jons (walking), KSC (20min), Disney/Orlando (45min) & Daytona (1 hour). The elevator was very, very slow. And having a chair (or two) in the room would have been nice. The one AC worked great the other one in main room not so much. And being on the 5th floor may have been the reason the water pressure was very poor but we dealt with it. Overall our stay was pleasant. One thing is I paid a deposit and according to my receipt I should have paid the amount minus the deposit (except for taxes). Ended up paying the full amount. Wondering where my deposit went. Not happy with that surprise.

Beyond bad

Cons: Everything.
Came off a cruise ship, my father had a heart issue & ended up in the local hospital overnight. I booked this hotel online. Arrived around 10pm, waited at the desk for half an hour as the clerk was chatting and finishing her smoke/break outside. The lobby is gross, my room was filthy, dirty sheets, broken bathroom sink tap, lumpy pillows, list is endless. A total nightmare. Stay ANYWHERE but here!

Pros: Room size
Cons: Cleanliness, TV's, elevator, WiFi, overall modernization.
Location: Good location, not far from Ron Jon's.
The hotel is quite dated. The pictures do not accurately reflect the hotel. The hot tub was not in service and the pool is offsite. The only WiFi is in the lobby which is tiny. The rooms are large but need a major upgrade. The TV's have got to be 15 years old. For a hotel this size, more than one elevator is needed. If you're looking for a place to stay for one night that's not very close to the beach, this will do. I would not plan a lengthy stay at this hotel.

Pros: Location, and the port shuttle.
Location: We weren't there long enough to explore the area.
We were satisfied and happy with our stay. Would have been nice to have a pool on the premises, but no big deal.
