Badly needs renovation

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Proximity to beach and Space Center...and it was less expensive than most hotels in the area.
The sofa in our suite was ripped in several places and stained so badly we wouldn't sit on it without putting a sheet over it. Old furniture. No flat screens, no internet. Slow elevator. Ice machine not working. Stains in front of elevator on second floor looks like a crime scene. Very noisy location on second floor in front of elevator. Dead bugs in bathroom. Stained pillowcases, but they were clean. Very convenient free parking on site. Coffee pot, fridge, microwave and kitchenette are functional. No pool or fitness center, but beach is two blocks away. Waffle House sits almost in the parking lot. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Obvious it used to allow smoking. Smell stale smoke each time you enter room. They need to paint. Carpets are really badly stained and hold odors.

Nice hotel near Cocoa Beach

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The hotel has a separate living room and sleeping room. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.
Cons: The dryer should be replaced. The hotel does not have a pool but allows guests to use a sister hotel's pool. Don't advertise the hotel as on the beach
Location: We enjoyed the Waffle House and the Italian restaurant across the street. We visited the gift shops and found reasonable prices.
We enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again. The beach, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. The hotel dryer wasn't working, but we were allowed to use another sister hotel's washer and dryer.

it's 2015

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Confortable beds
Cons: Update
Could use an update. Tv's were from the 90's and the shower was not very good. Beds were comfortable but no seating for relaxing. A table and chairs would have been nice. . The bathroom situation is a little weird. You have to walk through the second bedroom to get to the bathroom. It's a little inconvenient at night when someone is sleeping in the second bedroom. The beach is 2 blocks away across a lightly traveled street. There is a pool on site but it doesn't appear to have been used in years. We had a pleasant weak because we spent most of it at the beach. We would consider this hotel again.

Hotel needs a good scrub

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Stayed for one night at this hotel with my daughter and spouse. We booked the family suite, which I expected to consist of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. It turns out the kitchen is in the front room, there was no living area or sitting area at all. The front room also contains a king size bed, a TV, a nightstand with one lamp, and one chair. The second bedroom (or what was previously the only bedroom in the suite) held two full beds, a nightstand with a lamp, and a TV. We woke in the middle of the night to find a couple dead bugs in our bed after we had kicked off the sheets. When we inspected the room just a little closer we found stains on the sheets and pillows, a few more dead bugs on the floor (these bugs we later saw alive on the beach, maybe a type of sand tick?), the carpets throughout the entire room were stained and sticky in places. The carpet needs to be replaced, it's beyond a good scrub. Just an overall very uncomfortable stay. The building desperately needs a renovation and pest control targeting beach bugs.

Checked in late and the clerk was very kind and speedy. Needed some extra towels and it wasn't any trouble. Favorite was right next to Waffle House and 2 blocks to the beach'

The room

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: The room
Cons: The elevator was extremely slow and there were not many luggage carts.
Location: The beach was within a couple of blocks. There were 2 fast food joints in front of the hotel and some more across the street plus some set down place
The room was excellent in every way. Nice, clean, and quiet. It was like a 1 bedroom efficiency apartment.
