I left and wouldn't stay there.

None of the lights worked in the room. People were walking around drinking alcohol. It looked like people lived there.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. I am sorry for the problems you faced. We will make sure the housekeeping staff will be more vigilant checking the light bulbs. At the time you were staying with us we had groups in that all knew each other so it may have seemed there was activity outside. I hope you will try us again in the future.

Great hotel for the money!!

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Loved the room being clean and comfortable. It was at a very convenient location and made our needs easy. We stayed for 7 nights and it was great!
Cons: Breakfast and location we booked was NOT the same location of the actual hotel.
The hotel we booked stated the address was on US 1 at 192. When we got there that hotel didn't exist, so we had to stay at the one on 192 at I-95. I was extremely upset because we were lead to believe this was a hotel central to the beach and our family we were visiting. The breakfast was the same stuff every day. For a family of 4 on a budget this got old real fast. Muffins, cereal, or some sort of folded egg? and a burrito with sausage and egg. Its great for a shorter stay but after 3 mornings it was old fast. Be sure you are not depending on this breakfast every morning like we did! Other than that everything was great! The hotel was very clean, the people were super friendly, and I feel like we got a steal on the price. You cant beat it for the location and price! Just be sure youre NOT wanting the one on US 1, and the one close to I-95 is ok with you! The only time we heard the traffic from I 95 was when we went outside, the rooms were very quiet when trying to sleep!

Not our day

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Cons: Their TV/Cable system only works if the TV is set to Channel 4, but this TV starts at channel 13 when switched on.
This was not our first visit to this hotel and the previous visits were OK. The devil was in the detail this time. The room was hot, when we arrived, the AC was off. Then we wanted to put some sodas into the fridge, but the fridge was unplugged. Maybe to thaw it up and forgotten since the water was still sloshing in the tray. We emptied the water and plugged the fridge back in, it started working. Since the World-Cup was on we tried watching TV, only static. After calling the front-desk and about 20 min wait, somebody came and after another 25 min of fiddling got the TV to work. Quote: "Use this remote only to switch on and off, use the other remote to change channels". The TV was on the blink again on the next morning, but I had remembered the steps the technician went through and got a picture again. But no morning coffee in the room since either the coffeemaker or the outlet didn't work. We went to Denny's next door and won't be back soon at this hotel.

Ehh...

Pros: Not a complete junk hole for the price. They also gave me a nice snack bag upon check in and were very friendly.
Cons: Sound-proofing the rooms and more fresh breakfast options.
Nothing particularly bad, nothing really good either. Stayed on July 4th and other residence were sooo loud! I think there should be rules about blasting firecrackers after midnight, right outside a multitude of guest windows at any hotel. Atmosphere was a bit low class. People hanging out on staircases and aisles, blasting music in their cars, loud talking audible from inside the closed room. Breakfast was all prepackaged, low nutrition, empty calorie junk food. My husband liked the bed, I found the pillows so fluffy my chin touched my neck and had a sore neck the next day. Not my favorite stay, but the cheapest quick option for staying the night and not driving home with the drunks on the road. Bring your own pillow and ear plugs and it should be a great stay. Oh... and note that this hotel is, no joke, less than 20 ft. from the Holiday Express Inn. They share the same driveway and the Days Inn wraps around the Holiday Inn. A bit confusing, but now you know.

Quiet, relaxing hotel...

Posted May 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and I were there for a night, and everything was good. The only thing you may consider is the hotel has two floors and there is no elevator. Our room was a non-smoking King room and there was no one of these rooms on first floor. We ask for changing the room with two double on the first floor, the lady at the desk said, because we have booked using a third party, she cannot change the room to another type. The lady was very polite, the room was clean, and breakfast was ok. The area was quiet and relaxing. We may come back to this hotel if we are staying at Melbourn. I recommend this hotel to friends for the price.

Not EXACTLY what I expected

Posted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
This establishment is showing its age. The exterior doesn't look like it has been touched since the 80's. While the interiors of the rooms have been slightly updated, it could still use some work. I understand this is Florida and all, but my wife killed three cockroaches the first 5 minutes we were there. I really wanted to like this place, but left feeling a little disappointed.

Good quality stay for blue collar and working class, or family on tight budget. Clean, no bugs, no noise problems except for deafening AC (did not hear two alarm clocks)...Staff has good attitude and they try hard to please with what they have to work with. Unfortunately, low quality Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Stiff and sore upon awakening.
