“Old with a terrible smell”

Directly at the Ocean, Rooms are Big enough, but it smells terrible, especially from the floor; It' s an old Hotel, that should Be modernized, because the Price is also Not cheap.

“Not Impressed”

I have never written a review online, but I felt that this hotel was bad enough to merit a warning to the public. We stayed at this hotel for a weekend with the family. The room was tiny with barely enough room to maneuver around. The bathroom was pretty shabby, with poorly made repairs to the wall. The entire room smelled mildly of mold. The carpet was dirty and had visible waves where it wasn't flush with the floor (like when wood swells from moisture and cracks up). The air conditioner was not cut out for Florida summers. The pool, which looks magnificent online, is a little puddle. There was nothing included to warrant the extravagant price. The only reason we decided on this place was the high online ratings, which are grossly misleading. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was so close to the beach. It looked like the lobby had been recently renovated, leaving the rooms looking bleak in comparison. I have stayed in Cocoa Beach before and was never so disapointed.

“Cghosh”

Excellent location yea I pay for it, anyway I was looking to stay in a family oriented hotel on the beach, we were travelling Orlando with kids and want to stay on the beach for 3days. Room was ok not grate ( compare to per day rate ) , its small but lobby , pool , whole hotel was nice and clean but we hardly stay inside the room , air-condition working but not great , my bad was next to it and got the cold air to my face…. But I was looking for location and atmosphere , which I was extremely satisfied. Restaurant is good also has lots of choice out the hotel My kids were very disappointed when housekeeping stole the big coral they found from the beach … its wrong but don’t have any $$ value but it was really nice had to find those in coca beach area.

“The Worst Room Cleaning”

We stayed at DoubleTree and will think twice about staying at any other DoubleTree. The maid service was the WORST. I have never stayed in a hotel that STARTS to clean your room at 5:00 in the afternoon. (picture this) Your a family of five and you have spent your whole day on the beach, and in the pool, in the sun. You are hot, sweaty, sandy, hungry. Around 3:30 all you really want to do is start getting cleaned up for supper (with a family of five all getting showers, this takes awhile). You get to your room and 3:30 and your room is not cleaned (no clean towels). Your room does not get cleaned til 5:00. This happened both nights. The last night I went to go to the reg. deck and complained TWICE and still the room was not cleaned til 5:00. The pool was very very very small and very very very unclean.

Area recommendations
Eat at Anacapri Pizzaria. The calzones are amazing. Waitress is very nice.

“DoubleTree Cocoa Beach”

Great hotel right on the beach. Great location near everything. When i go back to Cocoa Beach I'm staying at this hotel again

“Great beach access!”
