Nice hotel right on the beach!Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The staff and the location. It was very clean and well taken care of. Nice restaurant for lunch and cocktails.
Cons: The air conditioner was really loud and seemed to shut off at night but then work again in the morning. Wish the beds were Queens instead of double.
Location: We spent one day in the historic town of Melbourne and visited a wonderful market called the Green Turtle. We shopped, went kayaking, walked the beach
Excellent find!! Very pleasant stay!! The staff was incredible! Especially, Jerry at the front desk. Check-in was a breeze and we received warm cookies - a welcomed treat after a days travel. Anything we needed from towels to a surge protector was provided within minutes anytime of the day. The hotel is located on the ocean, 1.8 miles from the Cocoa Beach pier. We walked there every morning enjoying the ocean waves lapping at our feet. Wonderful restaurants within a short drive. Beach chairs are for rent on the beach, however a bit pricey, so we choose to buy our own at Public's grocery story that is directly across the street - they also have a wonderful deli and make fabulous sandwiches. Sitting on the beach near the pier, we saw a rocket take off from Cape Canaveral - that was really cool.

Nice motel close to the beach.Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: It's across the street from my favorite Irish Pub.
Cons: The drive to the motel off of A1A needs to be repaved.
Location: Ron Jon's Surf Shop is nearby if you want a sensory overload.
Stayed only one night this trip. I grew up in Cocoa Beach so I go there to visit my parents.

Great Beach AccessPosted Mar 28, 2014
The front entrance on the road looks like a construction mess, but the hotel itself is set back and wonderful and the beach access is SUPER! Warm cookies, helpful staff, nice rooms, and a walking bridge right to the beach. Can even rent boogie boards. Kids played in the surf and "A N.Y. Pizza" down the street offered great gluten free food for our relative with allergies. Would definitely come here again.

Convenient to BeachPosted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Good beach location.
Cons: Only there one night, but everything I experienced was fine.
Location: Centrally located to all activities and beach access from right outside hotel.
Hotel location was very central to all Cocoa Beach activities and had reasonable views of beach from balcony. There was a leak in the bathroom in the room above mine which made my shower unuseable. Management very quickly responded by moving me to another room with a beach front view. Also, upon departure, I was told I will be getting a full refund credited to my credit card-without me even asking for it! Now that's what I call good service!! Wouild recommend this hotel to any one.

good location, but..Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: location convenient to shopping and restaurants.
Cons: paint the rooms a different color and perhaps have hall monitors to help keep the noise down. some indoor activities room would be welcomed.
Location: easy to get to numerous restaurants and shopping of all types. traffic in busy season is very heavy though.
Decent hotel, with a friendly staff. Well maintained and in a very good location and adjacent to beach. Room (as well as bathroom) was small and painted a very unattractive yellow color. The primary downfall of this hotel is the noise. Apparently built a long time ago and the structure of the building lends itself to be very sound conductive. Many rooms are 'adjoining' rooms with a thin door between two rooms. Would be fine for a family to share, but horrible for individuals. Initially had a full family in next adjoining room, with kids playing and father coughing his head off. They were so loud, it felt like they were actually staying in my room. Always kids running up and down the hallways and people slamming their doors shut, at all hours of the night. Too much noise all around to be comfortable. Also, if you go, please note that not all rooms are created equal. There are definitely less and more desirable locations. Recommend north facing side of building. However, if you get great weather, not much else matters.

Nice hotel on beachPosted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Great location.
Location: Great seafood restaurants in town. Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge (50 minutes north) is great for bird watching, alligators, and manatees.
Cocoa Beach is a great beach. Enjoyed walking along it as far as Cocoa Beach Pier. Rented boogie board from gift shop. It was also nice to eat breakfast and lunch on our balcony.

Second stay at this facility.Posted Mar 10, 2014
Location: Private walk/entrance to the ocean/beach. Quiet location even though it is just 1/2 mile from the main tourist locations in Cocoa Beach.
Wonderful and quaint location directly on ocean in Coca Beach. Stayed before and after our cruise. Hotel offers free parking and provides shuttle service to and from cruise terminal all at very reasonalbel rates.
