“Fantastic in every way”

This is my new home away from home. All rooms are suites. There is a living room as you enter with a couch and chair, a small eating table, and a coffee table, then the bathroom area, then the master bedroom leading out to a nice private balcony which has a wonderful view. 2 big flat TVs. The bath mirror is high which makes it easy for tall people to get ready. The towels and bed sheets are soft. Everything was clean and the coffee maker is very fast. :) Room service is amazing. I got the Cowboy Steak 3 nights...I could not believe how good it was! Mashed sweet potatoes and a house salad with ranch. So good. Prices are very reasonable too. Everywhere in the hotel it seems reasonable. $1 sodas, $1.50 wash, 75 cent dryer, snacks, etc. The pool is great, good outdoor seating, great bar, awesome restaurant, friendly / helpful staff, and the room is very comfortable. Parking is good, internet (wired) is fast, and they have a great movie system (watched the Green Lantern which is still at theaters). The beach area is clean and the area attracts more family minded people. There is every restaurant you can think of in a 5 mile radius, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS very close. Ask for something above the 2nd floor because the sand dunes could obstruct your view. I was in a wheel chair accessible room (though I did not need it) and it was great. It is an easy drive up to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, or Daytona Beach from this location. I will be back numerous times. :) DoubleTree is great!

“Best view and Best cookies on the Space Coast”

After the initial setback of not getting our room request when we checked in, the stay was overall very good. We had to upgrade to the top floor to get a balcony view, but what a view it was. The sound of the ocean was so peaceful we were able to immediately relax everytime we were in the room. They had homemade cookies at the front desk that were free and we probably ate enough of them to make up for the upgrade and never had to buy dessert after dinner. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful and helped make our stay very enjoyable. Thank God we checked out when we did, since a bus load of screaming teenagers checked in the night before and were out on the beach screaming until 11:30 pm, but we left the early the next morning. would not have been happy if they were there for our whole stay. Also, we had mentioned a problem with our internet connection in our room and it was never really fixed properly, but I able to make it work on my own. With a little fine tuning, our stay would have been perfect, but it was still very enjoyable.

“Should have way more stars!”

This hotel is on the Atlantic Ocean and each room has a balcony overlooking the Ocean. From the upper rooms you can see the Indian River. The hotel is older but looks like it has all ocean themed and extremely beautiful. This hotel deserves a lot more stars.

“Loved this hotel!”

This is a wonderful hotel. My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids and we all loved it. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with great views and sounds of the ocean. My kids loved the pool. I loved the easy access to the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location in Melbourne Beach was good, too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had, and we travel quite a bit. Beautiful room, beautiful view right on the ocean. The beach wasn't crowded at all. My wife and I became Doubletree fans for sure. And the cookies were great too!

“Fantastic Hotel”

We stayed at the Doubletree for two nights during the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel is peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed leaving the sliding door to the patio cracked at night and listening to the waves crashing.

“hotel of choice”

Great location, friendly staff. Nice to have a sitting room separate from bedroom when on vacation. rooms are clean and have beachfront view. Ie stayed here twice and will stay here the next time i stay in the area.

“Viva Doubletree!!!”

This was a wonderful experience. The suite was new, clean and comfortable for my family of four. The ocean view was spectacular. The beach was not crowded. The pool was well maintained. I didn't eat at the resturaunt but the food ordered poolside was good and reasonably priced. The staff was courteous and helpful. I hated to have to leave and will definitely return.
