“I would go back in a New York minute”

“Exceeded expectations...will return”

Great value. Bed and bedding was like many luxury hotels we've been to in the past few years. Looked like the room was recently renovated with better than expected furniture and fixtures. Good coffee in the room but only styrofoam cups. The TV was still a 27" CRT but had an very good selection of channels including HBO and PBS. Free computer center and free printing. Nicely decorated pool area. Did not have time to try the fitness center. Restaurant (Rendez Vous) had good food and a senior discount. Room was very quiet during our stay, which is important to us. We selected this hotel for location but will give it first choice when we visit Melbourne again.

Area recommendations

The Viera area has a good selection of restaurants and peaceful parks. We also have relatives to visit there. If one is seeking KSC/NASA visits or beach experience, there are other hotels closer to those.

Dining

We enjoyed UNO Chicago Grill. Wide choice of foods, great service and good desserts especially a very large 'bananas foster' for only $4.99.

“Not impressed for a Conference Center Holiday Inn- Cheap amenities and room”

There were many things that were not good. Overheard housekeeping supervisor with loud voice talking like she was arguing in Spanish to workers as we passed by her door on our floor. The tub drain was broken, the lamp on one side of the bed had no plug in anywhere, room had dull lighting, we had cheap soap and skimpy amenities in the room. Room was not worth the money compared to other cheaper hotels that have better things such as mini fridges and better soaps. The price of this hotel and the fact that it calls itself a "Convention Center" hotel is just not living up to our expectations. Wish we had stayed somewhere else.

“Fine place for business, safe and clean”

cleaning lady sometimes forgets to clean out the coffee maker. That happens in many hotels I stay in for some reason. Other than that, its a fine hotel and I return often.

“Met expectations”

Overall, this hotel was satisfactory. We spent 4 nights there recently and just really needed a place to crash for sleeping. The entrance lobby and restaurant are nice and updated. It's somewhat deceiving as the rooms themselves are run of the mill standard. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable but there were some issues. The bathroom shower curtain was moldy at the bottom and needed to be replaced. The tub drain plug was busted so no baths if you wanted one. My biggest complaint was the door. Even if you let it "slam", it didn't even fully close. This is a safety concern. Ours was not the only door with this as I noticed one door was not fully closed when we returned to the hotel one night and it was the same way the next morning. We ate b-fast at the hotel restaurant one morning and it was just OK. There are plenty of local restaurants to go spend your money on (b-fast was not included). I would still recommend as there's only so many hotels that are in the immediate area. I spent a night at the La Quinta near here and would say it's not better nor worse.

“Decent hotel for the price”

This hotel is very close to the Brevard Zoo. For the price, its ok. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Hotel was very quiet. Pillows had choice of soft or hard. No complaints.

“Great hotel, wrong address”

Beautiful,comfortable hotel. Just a little more info should be placed on the directions. Melbourne,Flordia is a big town and this is not"really"in Melbourne. It's on I-95. We were coming from Kennedy Space Center and the Coco Beach area on the ocean road., not I-95 and drove about 40 miles out of our way trying to find the hotel. Clearer directions would be appreciated to this lovely hote.
