“Great value, convenience and service”

For no more than a standard motel, the Suburban in Melbourne provided a convenient way to get to my very early flight, and allowed me to come "home" afterward. I have a medically restricted diet, so the full kitchen was a great plus that I usually have to pay much more for. The staff were courteous and efficient. All in all a great experience.

“comfortable hotel!”

I'm FIT international student, I arrived at Melbourne at 1 o'clock AM, I still found hotel staff to help me to find my room and he was very friendly. So, I'm very happy. The internet of hotel is always quickly, the restroom is very clean, there are kinds of utensils in the kitchen and it's so convenient. the room and hall always have a perfume smell and very quiet, I love it. In a word, this hotel is very comfortable for me !

“Not impressed”

The hotel was OK for the price I guess. I have never stayed at an "extended stay" hotel before. One of the beds was broken, one of the burners on the stove did not work, the iron leaked water, and the back of the chair broke completely off. Most likely will not stay there again.

“Great value for the money”

We were staying in Melbourne to move my step-daughter back to college at Florida Tech. The hotel was very convenient to the school and her new apartment. We arrived 2 hours before check-in, but were allowed to check in immediately. The room was ready, a/c was on. The room was very clean. We stayed for 4 nights, and the third night we started noticing a few ants around, but not too bad. That was the only issue we had. We definately would stay here again. It would be nice if there was a pool on the property, but we wouldn't have had much time to use it anyway.

“Not impressed”

Noisy refridgerator kept me up most of the night till I shut it off.

“People were smoking in the corridor”

Hotel should allow people to smoke only in their smoking room and not in the corridor. This create inconvenience for non-smoking people especially kids and babies. This may be by few people not following the rules.

“You can do better”

This place wasn't the worst place I have ever stayed, but it was far from decent. You can do better for the same price. Check around.

“Bad Hotel Guests”

The hotel itself was fine and served it's purpose, nothing fancy, very basic. The staff was very nice, no complaints there. The complaint was with the fellow hotel guests. There was a family across the hall, the kids were screaming and running up and down the hall, the mother screaming at them but not doing much else. Someone, I think next door to me, kept pounding on their door and screaming at the top of her lungs to open the door. This happened 4x between 10pm and 11:15pm. Finally the person upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants. I was amazed at how much I heard the upstairs people walking around. Thank goodness it was a one night stay.

“Unfortunately”

I have no issue with the hotel, but with expedia. When booking the trip the only option shown on expedia was a non-smoking room. This was on several hotels that I reviewed. After checking in and spending the night, was informed that the hotel had smoking rooms that were vacant. Why then wasn't I given the option for a smoking room on expedia?
