“I wish I had more time”

We only stayed 2 nights at Wakulla and I wish we had more time. The rooms were huge. 2 bedrooms -one with a king and a double & twin in the other. Plus a living room, dining room and a full kitchen & bath as well. It was bigger than some apartments I've lived in. It was clean and the beds weren't lumpy as other reviewers had complained. My daughter loved the wade pool so much we had to drag her to go see the ocean. And she loved the ocean so much I hated that we had to leave the next day. A section of the hotel is on the beach but most of the hotel- the section we stayed in - wasn't. The people the neighboring rooms were very nice and even offered us their leftover laundry soap as they were leaving, which was nice although the washing machines were pricey. The hotel staff was very friendly and set up our crib and replaced our burned out front door light right away. Next time, we'll stay a week.

We have a large family and have to book two rooms wherever we go, so we were very happy to find a two bedroom suite on the beach for less than two "economy priced" rooms at other chain hotels! The suite (which used to be two bedroom apartments) was large and clean, and it is always nice to have a kitchen. (The main living areas are all tile and being next to the beach the floors always felt sandy.) They should put a broom and dust pan in the rooms....

“Awesome Hotel”

Beachfront Wakulla Two Bedroom Suites made our stay awesome and offered all the comforts of home. The location is fabulous. Depending on which room you book, the walk to the beach is from 2 minutes to 30 seconds. And is close to shops (souvenirs, grocery, drug stores, etc) and restaurants alike. The beach was amazing. It was never packed and I had no problems finding a place to settle or leaving my stuff while swimming or surfing in the ocean. The front desk staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff was equally friendly and extremely efficient. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area and gardens around the property were well maintained and clean. Excellent place for families and groups, or those who are on extended stays. The room was equipped with all features needed to cook nice 'home cooked' meals. Would recommend this place to anybody and will definitely be coming back for many future stays. Could not have asked for a better experience.

“wonderful family vacation spot”

My husband and I took our two teenage brothers for a long weekend. the hotel was great the room was clean its older but everything worked and comfy. We will definitely be going back next time we go to florida. The hotel is great for families and the pool is clean. everything was quiet and very relaxing the beach is very close just across the street. great for the money!

“Excellant value!”

We have stayed at this motel at least 6 times in the last 15 years. We have always been happy because the value is excellant. We especially like the ability to get a two bedroom suite for way less than renting two motel rooms. The location is excellant. The main hotel is not right on the beach but at the end of a road so there really is very little traffic crossing the road to the beach access. The motel is about 1/2 mile from the pier which is nice. The suites are all nicely furnished with dishes and cookware. Easily enough for 4 people. The rooms are not fancy but large enough for a family and homey.The courtyard has several gas grills if you wish to cookout. The pool area is very nice, many plants and natural flowers. There is a main pool and a shallow kiddie pool. The management has taken an extra effort to mark the plants and to have a variety of flowers and bushes. There is also a game room and shuffle board. The location cannot be beat. We arrived at noon and were actually allowed to enter our room, this was on a Monday and may not be true on busier days. We will definetley book with Wakulla Suites if we can the next time we go to Cocoa Beach.

an older hotel that has been up-graded and refurbished with a courtyard of magnificent tropical plants. beautifully maintained pathways wind to the pool beneath this foliage that has been labeled for one's knowledge. complete with outdoor grills and secluded dining spots. feels more like a private condo during the week. pool and deck are monitored constantly for warm temperature and cleanliness. hidden treasure!
