“Great B & B in the Highlands”

Colin is a wonderful host, and runs his B & B with a nice personal touch. He made us feel very welcome and fed us a delicious breakfast every morning. He also improved our trip by giving us great tips on what to see -- including some sights that don't make it into guidebooks -- and what to avoid in the Highlands. Our children (ages 8 and 12) also really enjoyed our stay at Riverside Lodge Gardens, and we really appreciated how kind Colin was to them. You won't go wrong staying here.

“On the way to SKYE”

Colin, a retired British firefighter, was an extremely hospitable host. This B&B ,on a cul-de-sac off the main street that runs through the small town of Spean Bridge, is a short walk from the train station where a wonderful meal can be had. An upscale pre-fixe meal is also within walking distance. In operation for six years, the place is weel kept. The bedroom is a bit small but adequate with modern bath fixtures en suite. Breakfast options are numerous. A starter fruit plate is beatifully presented. The full Scottish breakfast is quite good and will last you most of the day. After a day in the Stirling area to visit the castle, have lunch in town, and climb the William Wallace monument, this is a great mid-point on the way to the Highlands in the north or the Isles. A good value.
