BEST LOCATION! AWESOME STAYPosted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: Location, service, rooms, decor, terrace, it really is the best place to stay in Hvar.
Cons: Although the sundeck on the rooftop is nice, the pool is indoors, which was a bit weird.
Modern, great views, nice terrace, awesome service, friendly staff, spacious room, in the heart of old-town Hvar....I would not reccomend any other hotel.

Bad experience - not worth 350 Euros a nightPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Only the location
Cons: Service, service, service.....and staff training. They delivered our luggage only last minute at the boat to Split when everybody else had boarded
Location: Hvar is a fantastic place. Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views of Adriatic sea, island hopping and other excursions; great restaurants (try La Luna)
Staff is friendly but not well trained. Seaview room tiny, when taking shower the water flooded the bathroom section which was open. Housekeeping did not exchange used glasses throughout the entire stay. I advised reception staff of our booking of an extra night upon check-in so they could merge the two bookings - yet they called us and asked us to change rooms despite the fact the new booking was for the same room type and it took me some time with the receptionist to sort this out. Worst experience was the associated Les Bains beach club. I asked one of the reception staff if the hotel had a beach and he recommended this beach club with the information they would not charge admission fee but just the rental of the sunbeds. We stayed for 2 hours and then were presented a bill of ca 90 euros for 2 sunbeds -on a post-socialist concrete terrace. I complained at the hotel about the price and the information given beforehand - the reception staff told me those were normal prices for sunbeds in Hvar (actually this is about 8-9 times of what you pay on public beaches - and imagine how long average people in Croatia have to work for this....) and then talked to the customer service manager. She called the beach club but they were not willing to waive the fee since they are an independent department despite the promotion by the hotel... She offered us a hotel courtesy of our choice - but when we asked whether we could drink my friends birthday Champagne on the terrace staff refused

AmazingPosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: The swimming pool, roof top bar, the courteous staff. They even have a great transfer service from Split airport.
Excellent hotel staff. Too nice! George was simply amazing. The rest of the staff were sublime. I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. I will definitely be back!

Centrally situated with small roomsPosted Jun 15, 2013
Pros: The hotel had a beautiful view and location
Cons: No bathtubs iin rooms and very small rooms
The Adriana is very centrally situated and has a beautiful view from the seafacing rooms, The rooms however are very small for the price and my husband and I felt we were falling over each other all the time. There are also no bathtubs in the rooms unless you book the suites which are expensive.

Lovely hotel for a few days away...Posted May 30, 2013
Pros: Pool and roof area & view from harbour side rooms
Cons: Roof bar closed from 4pm one day for private party. Rainy day and no other areas for sitting and relaxing, so had to stay in our room
Location: The best location in Hvar! 1 minute from all the restaurants and bars and 5 minutes stroll to little beach.
Lovely hotel in May! May be a bit noisy in high season from other bars etc.... Good breakfast and lovely dinner, however the dinner menu is very small and very repetitive! Fab roof top pool, bar and sunbathing area.

Very disappointed with this hotelPosted Sep 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
I stayed at this hotel with my husband for 3 nights and we were very disappointed. We are willing to spend money on a nice hotel if the service is good, but this place fell terribly short. The receptionists and waiters were rude and unhelpful. During breakfast it was nearly impossible to get a cup of coffee and the waitresses were annoyed when we asked for it. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening and we waited 15 minutes without getting menus (my husband finally got up and got them himself). Then we ordered drinks twice from our waiter and they never came during the entire meal. And forget about trying to sleep at night. The music from the bar is so loud that we couldn't sleep even with ear plugs in. It was miserable. Finally on the last day we had to check out by 12 but our ferry wasn't until 6pm so we asked if we could hang out by the pool until our ferry. The receptionist basically said no we can't use the pool since we already checked out, even though we just spent 3 days at the hotel and had no where to go for 6 hours. This hotel does not understand how the service industry works and could care less if guests are happy. In this price range this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at.

Really nice hotel, excellent breakfast, but rooms a tad small and they don't have tubs as in the description on hotels.com!
