Poor location and not the quality I expected

Posted Jul 30, 2014
It is a fair distance from the old town, which is where all the restaraunts and everything are. The hotel staff where not very friendly. I left clothes by accident in the wardrobe and called as soon as I realised and they denied it and were not helpful.

Classy hotel, decent location...

Posted Jul 25, 2014
A good 4-star hotel of the standard you would expect. Nice restaurant (tho a little pricey), good quality clean rooms. Okay wifi reception. Spa use included which is good - gym, sauna, steam room, swimming pool. Location is good - 20 min walk to Diocletian's Palace. Easy cab ride.

Pros: I liked the pool and spas wich is great after a day of visiting the different attractions of the area.
Location: UNESCO's Diocletian Palace is just a few minutes walking distance away.
This hotel offers great spa activities and is very well situated near the Diocletian Palace.

Pros: Huge comfy bed- friendly staff
Location: Not many bars or restaurants nearby- better off in the town where there are an abundance of places offering good food at a reasonable price.
Excellent Hotel- pleasant helpful staff, we enjoyed it here very much.

Noisy noisy noisy

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Breafast
Cons: Noixe, room windows
The picture on the front of the hotel web site is misleading as it shows the hotel as being on the waterfront, it is not, it is 15 minutes walk from the old town. Although the rooms are good and comfortable the noise from the road is awful, the windows must be made of paper. Dosn`t matter if you have a room at front, side or back of hotel don`t expect to sleep as the trucks and lorries roar past all hours.

Good place to recover from 15 hours of travel

There is no airport shuttle but a bus from the airport stops close to the hotel. A restaurant serving Balkan specialties is located a couple of blocks away. We could walk to Diocletian’s palace. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is nondescript.

Great hotel in Split

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: The staff was very professional and always willing to help.
Location: The hotel is located on a main street about 1.5 Km from the old town center of Split. It was an easy walk for us. There is a modern shopping nearby.
The Atrium Hotel is a modern 4-star hotel in Split. The rooms are large and very comfortable with quality linens, and a very modern bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. I loved the card entry system; just tap the card on a reader and push the door open; no sliding the card key into a slot several times. On the inside, just press a button to indicate "do not disturb" or to request room service and an appropriate indicator lights up on the outside of the door. The breakfast buffet was scrumptious with just about every kind of food you could want for breakfast (although they're not good with crispy bacon; it was always undercooked, even when special ordered).

Not a five star hotel

Posted Nov 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were very disappointed in the Atrium hotel for many reasons. There is no way it should be listed as a five star hotel. Our room was a strange configuration with poor lighting; a fluorescent light hanging from ceiling but not near bed. No lighting on one side of bed, low lamp on other side. Drapes wouldn't close all the way, had to pin them shut, tear in lampshade. Breakfast was in cafeteria style room and offered overripe, split bananas, brown grapes, and machine coffee.
