Very nice place to stayPosted Aug 19, 2014
My first experience staying in a hotel inside the Castle wall with a live museum I loved it. The only thing I found this place the smallest streets to move around (no taxi to the door) you have to walk everywhere within the old town I would do it again

Right where you want to be.Posted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
A little difficult to find but, when you do, it's well worth it. Location is perfect. Right in the palace within walking distance to everything. Hotel receptionist very helpful in recommending places to eat and organizing car service to the airport when requested. Rooms were on the small size but since you'll be out exploring the town, not an issue. Would not recommed this hotel with anyone afraid of stairs. Elevator is available but requires a half flight of stairs to get to your room. Overall, a stay again hotel.

In the Heart of the CityPosted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Jupiter Luxury Hotel is one of my favorite hotels that I've stayed in, full stop. It is the complete package and located directly in the heart of Split's Old City. The rooms are beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. The linens and bedding are top notch, warm and inviting, and made for a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff were extraordinarily helpful and very welcoming; they even let us know where the Game of Thrones was being filmed while we visited!

Hotel inside Diocletian PalacePosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Location and staff, oh and btw, my flight was early morning, 5am and the reception gave me a lunch box when I checked out, that was awesome.
Cons: Bed needs to be firm, soap holder or something you can put shampoo and soap.
Location: Location was inside the Diocletian Palace and perfect to walk around sightseeing. The restaurant below the hotel was excellent.
It was short but great, staff were accommodating. Room was perfect size for one or couple, bathroom was newly renovated except no soap holder when showering. My only complain was the hallway carpet smells moldy and I believe they are in the process of renovating. The bed was saggy tho'. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, centrally located, great staff and worth staying for a night or 2.

Very nice hotel in the mddle of the old cityPosted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Clean, perfect for a short stay and perfect location.
Cons: Put a tray or some kind of holder in the shower.
Location: It is in the Old city and very close from te sea so you can reach everithing just with ashort walking dstance.
I loved the Hotel, it was a nice surpraise. Recently remodeled, nice bathroom and the room was perfect. The personal in the hotel was extremely helpful. I would most definetly recommend this Hotel especially if you are staying for a short visit to Split, the Jupiter Hotel is right in the middle of everything so you don't spend extra time getting there.

This is a hostel/B&B, NOT a luxury hotel.Posted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
You cannot pull up in a taxi since this place is behind the palace wall. So you pull up near it, and have to lug your bags through town, and through a bazaar of trinket sellers, and down an alley, and up many steps, and down another alley, to get to check-in. Check-in was delayed. Going to our room we had to take 2 elevators! Yes, there was an elevator transfer. We took one elevator, got off, walked down a hall, to get to another elevator, that took us to the floor our room was on. Not fun with bags. The room was tiny, there was nowhere to set our bags down. Our view was of a wall. The room smelled of urine. I could go on and on. The location is really good if you want to be in the middle of everything, but be prepared for all of the above downsides. We walked in and walked out. We spent a lot of money on 20 minutes of WiFi in our room, which we used to find another hotel that was true to its advertising, and really was a luxury hotel. They did show concern and were upset that they did not please us, and that we checked out immediately, but avoiding false advertising would fix that. We wasted a lot of time and money trusting this place would meet expectations. The people were nice, the hotel was NOT.

Great hotel for a few nights partying in SplitPosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: Right there and modern
Cons: nothing really
Location: You have to walk in from the car park area as the city is 1500 years old so no cars, so you wend your way in, its tricky, but absolutely charming.
A great little hotel right in the thick of it in the Palace of Split Old City. Absolutely in the thick of it with a trendy late night bar/alleyway 50m away... check... Modern moderate size room with great bathroom...check.... Great restaurants and cafe courtyards around every corner... check... If you are a precious whinger you will say it is too noisy, but if you like to stay up having a great time, you stagger back 100m at 3am, close the thermal windows and curtains and put on the Aircon and it's as quiet as... zzzzzzz... Highly recommend to sophisticated party animals.
