“Diamond in the rough”

First thing to say is that the hotel allowed me to change the date of my reservation after I made an error in booking - after the refund cut off period. So - good for them. The people from the cleaning staff, in the restaurant and the front counter were extremely helpful and friendly. They smiled so much it must hurt. The dinner we had - on the water - at the hotel was the best dinner we had in Croatia. All that and the water is beautiful, excellent to swim in and if you are interested you can walk along the water for miles/kilometers (we never did reach the end). We were only here one day and could easily have stayed more.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and appearance of the room. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile and a welcome 'Hello'. It was nice to have free internet. Breakfast was good and the freshly cooked bread and pastries very tasty.

Great place to stay in Split. Close to everything -only a short walk to the main areas - but at affordable rates. Good breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

“Excellent accomodation!”

The staff of this hotel was efficient and very professional. The location is close to the Old city so it is easy to walk to the sites and attractions. The rooms was very clean and newly rennovated so very pleasant. The area is quiet even though it is located in the city.

“Nice hotel”

We stayed at Hotel Globo for 2 nights. The location was great - less than 10 minutes from the center city which is a very quick walk. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Rooms were small but nice. Bathroom was a good size. Computers with free internet available all day. Nice breakfast. I would definitely recommend to travelers. Good value for the price. No room service after 10pm. 4 star.

“Off the path”

The hotel it self was great, the staff were more than accommodating at all times. We arrived early and they got our room ready for us asap. It is a bit of a walk from the ocean but on the walk to the hotel you will experience fabulous shopping - everything from Prada and Chanel to local shoe stores

“great stopower hotel”

Hotel Globe appears to be a new hotel, two taxi drivers did not know exact location--- Geared to mostly business people, very friendly staff prepared for our arrival. Given directions to all local attractions, easy few min stroll to old town, great restaurants and port. Breakfast included. great choices of fresh food for all diets. Room comfortable and clean, Would stay there again.

“Entirely adequate”

OK hotel in non-descript neighborhood a short walk to the Riva. Helpful staff, comfortable room, good breakfast buffet.

“Would go back”

The hotel is unexciting but an acceptable 10 minutes' walk from the main promenade/water front. The whole city is within walking distance. The hotel arranged a free car drive to and from a "sister" restaurant called F on the front - convenient but we suspect F staff are inclined to try and fleece the tourist, so best avoided. Hotel staff were without exception very courteous and helpful.
