Nice Hotel on the Beach & 10 Minutes Walk to Town
We stayed in the Premier Club, the 4 star wing of the hotel during the last week of August (although I think it was only 3 star with Western standards). We had 2 separate rooms on different floors. The rooms were very clean and fresh and had big balconies with fabolous views of the Adriatic Sea. The rooms were refreshed every day. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner had some good selections even if it wasn't a wide array. Generally, the food was suprisingly delicious. They also had plenty of everything and never needed to wait for replenishment. The hotel complex is pretty large with probably hundreds of visitors each week. With that said, the main areas were worn but kept clean. Their piano and beach bars had plenty of selections and nice ambience. The hotel entertainment was decent too and our children had a great time. We also didn't have any problem getting beach lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool had seen better times though and it is in a desperate need of repair but again it was kept clean and the kids loved it. Also, we had WIFI in the rooms which was a nice suprise. My only complaint would be to curb smoking and have designated areas that are enforced. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Zora and in Primosten. Even though they encounter so many tourists, the hotel complex and also the town are kept super clean. The Croatian people are so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Tired Hotel, Fab Location
As a family of 4 (children 10 & 7), just spent 3 nights here, and another elsewhere in Primosten (only because we couldn't book a fourth night here!). This hotel has a fab location with great access to great beaches in a great little holiday town. The hotel is a bit tired and really looks its age on the outside. The restaurant, in particular, felt understaffed when busy (and it was full in mid-July) and the food was quite average. But most importantly the beaches were great fun and the views across to Primosten (about 5 mins walk) were fab!

This hotel was fantastic! Extremely helpful and cheerful front desk, excellent room with sea view like I booked, not a half side view of the sea, RIGHT on the water, indoor/outdoor pool was beautiful. Dinner was a bit of a cluster but the selection was decent. A 5 minute walk and you're into a little market town with a grocery store and anything tourist you could want. Wasn't as many options for watersports activities as I expected but you could still do almost anything you wanted to just on the other side of the peninsula. Big hotel, not a "big hotel" feel. The beach IS rocky, bring watershoes and more than a towel to lay on. I plan to revist and will stay at the hotel Zora again.

Unless you are 50+ or French don't stay here. We were made to feel uncomfortable and not welcome, upon check in our keys were basically thrown at us. The younger members of staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was average and the facilities were outdated. The swimming pool and views were the best thing about the hotel. Also have to pay for parking even though you are a paying guest at the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean.

Stayed here for 6 days. Good choice of food at both breakfast and evening meal. Everything on hand - beach, shops, restaurants and a short walk into the old town. Our room was overlooking the sea in the main hotel and had a lounge with tv and bedroom with another tv. Very pleasant stay - exceeded our expectations.

Exceptional location, nice food and staff
We spent ten days in Hotel Zora. Despite being very big, hotel does not have the typical horrible feel that most big hotels have, i.e. tourist factory.This is mainly due to its layout consiting in separate buildings linked by corridors, all of them hidden in a pine forest. Given its position on top of a small hill, most rooms have at least some sea view. The food was very good for a 3-star hotel which was probably due to the prevalence of French clientele (very demanding when it comes to food - and not only food, as a matter of fact :-). The cantine is relatively big but offers beuatiful views of old Primosten - so different from many big hotels. Most of the staff were very nice-a short example: we lost our special baby spoon during a dinner (waiter took it while cleaning table between meals) - the staff found it overnight. And then...we lost it a second time! The staff, still smiling, found it for us again... The main advantage of this hotel however is its location - on a small peninsula covered with pines, so there is always the shade to be found when one need it, althout it is just a 15min wa. Also, for people who have babies the hotel is perfect as the childrens corner is amazing - in fact it is a big separated area with two pools for children, open air playground, air-conditioned playing area, kitchen and even children-sized toilets. It can be compared without hesitation with the standards of Austrian Kinderhotels. To sum it up, we already booked our next stay...

Very nice hotel, but check on air conditioner
The hotel location is excellent. It is on a peninsula all by itself, surrounded by the Adriatic. There is a walking/bike path surrounding the grounds. Beaches are on all sides. They are with stones, so bring water shoes. The room was large and with nice furniture. The problem was the air conditioning. We were on the top floor (4th) and, although the air conditioner worked, it was very weak. We slept with the windows open, but it did not really cool down until about 2 a.m. We were not bothered by bugs. There were lots of activities for all ages and I would definitely recommend this hotel for families. We saw lots for both youngsters and teens. If we would have had sufficient air conditioning, I would rate this hotel a 4. If you stay here, make sure you get a room on the lower floors or with an upgraded air conditioner.

Hidden Gem in Croatia
A beautiful resort built on its own peninsula. It has a paved path surrounding the resort, which can be used for jogging or strolling. The old town is a 5 minute walk away. While the resort typically has entertainment, it is subdued. During tourist season, the old town is hopping. There are two levels of rooms at the resort - older socialist rooms and newly upgraded rooms, so make sure you get what you pay for. Great staff, good food, clean rooms, lots to do.

Spectacular view makes up for shortfalls
Now what is rather a dated modern hotel, obviously gets a large number of guests through and have a captured audience (not many alternatives). The room lamp shade had a water stain??? and the roof was spattered with something that obviously hit the roof fan and was never spotted/cleaned. The shower rose fittings were falling apart, and numerous patches in the bathroom tiles where old fittings had been removed and different ones installed. Balconies don't have proper locks on the doors. The maid service seems very enthusiastic in cleaning the room at 9am, opening the door without knocking. On the plus side, the service was good and staff were friendly. The view and location is perfect, and price made this good value.

Hotel bien situé en bord de mer.
Les chambres sont simples mais correctes mais le ménage n'est pas fait correctement. Nous sommes restées 15 jours avec la couche de poussière en conséquence. Le personnel à l'accueil est à l'écoute, il n'en est pas de même pour la restauration. Si vous n'êtes pas en pension complète, il est très difficile de voir un serveur pour la commande des boissons. Il nous est déjà arrivé que l'on nous l'apporte en fin de repas. On a plus l'impression d'une cantine que d'une salle de restaurant. Dommage. Pour le petit déjeuner, le café est très bon (ce qui est rare) il y a du choix sucre et sale fruits et laitages. Par contre, au dîner pas de yaourt, pour les enfants.

Tolle Lage - wenig Komfort
Positiv: *tolle Lage direkt am Strand mit sensationellem Blick aufs Meer und die Stadt auch von der Terrasse aus beim Essen!! *gut funktionierendes WLan (auch im Zimmer u. am Strand) *Zimmerreinigung war ok *schneller Check-in Negativ: *Essen leider nur mittelmäßig - viele Fertiggerichte - würden nächstes mal nur Frühstück nehmen und im Ort Abendessen gehen *Service sehr schlecht: keiner grüßt, leere Teller werden kaum abgeräumt, dauert ewig bis jemand kommt und Getränkebestellung aufnimmt --> sollte eindeutig besser organisiert werden! *Zimmer: alt und abgewohnt! vielleicht sind die Premium-Zimmer besser - wäre einen Versuch wert *Teuer: die Liegen am Strand kosten 90 Kunar pro Tag (2 Liegen+1 Schirm) - das sollte im Hotelpreis inkudiert sein! (weitere Liege kostet 20 Kunar) Fazit: ohne diese Top-Lage mit Wahnsinns-Aussicht würden wir das Hotel nur bedingt weiterempfehlen. Preis-Leistung stimmt leider nicht, haben für ein 4*-Valamar letztes Jahr den selben Preis bezahlt und dort sind die Zimmer und das Essen im Vergleich Luxus und auch die Sonnenliegen inkludiert!!

Purtroppo a causa delle cattive condizioni metereologiche non abbiamo potuto sfruttare al meglio la spiaggia. La piscina, piccola per la grandezza della struttura, era affollatissima in quanto coperta e riscaldata. La struttura è molto datata e necessita di un ammodernamento. Ottima la posizione. Personale gentile e disponibile. Buon punto di partenza per escursioni (Spalato, Sibenicco, Trogir).

1. Strul vid incheckningen, hotels.com är inget de kännde till. Har tydligen hänt med flera svenska gäster. 2. Parkeringen sker i skogsdungen på hotellområdet 3. Ingen indoor pool som beskrivs på siten 4. Poolen som finns på bilderna är i extremt dålig skick, röstig, mkt liten 5. Solstolarna på hotellstranden kostar extra 6. Dusch på hotellstranden kostar extra 7. Badrummet dåligt skick 8. Rummet vi fick 6104, mkt lyhört, konstant brummande ljud. 9. All personal förutom M.G och I.G i receptionen saknar servicekänsla Bra fruktutbud vid frukost.

Dielt am Meer. Einige Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen was sich zB beim Badezimmer stark auswirkt. ZB fast abfallender Toilettensitz und harabhängende glasablagefläche. Sauberkeit passt. Aircondition gut regelbar. Zimmermädchen machen nur das nötigste. ZB wurde das Bad nie gereinigt. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß. Allerdings naht am Dach ebenso schon der Zahn der Zeit bzw Rost. Buffet morgens und abends ausreichend und recht gut. Service bei den Mahlzeiten sehr lachs

Kvaliteten på hotellets kelnere var forskjellig - fra full service til ingen service. Vi fikk ikke lov til å slå sammen spisebord til mer enn fire seter, noe som er et stort problem for større familier eller reisefølge. Kelneren overså oss to av syv dager, slik at vi ikke fikk noe å drikke til to middager. Fra full service den ene dagen til ingen service den neste. Frokost var meget god. Lunsj og middagene bar preg av masseproduksjon uten variasjon fra dag til dag, noe som gikk ut over matgleden. Vi foretrakk derfor å spise på restauranter utenfor hotellet. Recepsjon og renholdet på rommet var utmerket.

E um resort grande (ja um pouco antigo) numa peninsula exclusiva. Local muito bom, 10 minutos do centro antigo a pe pela praia, praia particular do hotel excelente. Café da manha bom.O jantar era incluido no estilo buffet (simples e farto) da uma tranqulidade de nao ficar procurando lugar pra jantar todos os dias se voce teve um dia cansativo. Quartos grandes e confortaveis, atendimento muito simpatico de todo o staff. Internet mais ou menos (sinal intermitente). Varias areas de lazer dentro do hotel com diversas atividades.

Olimme viikon huhti-toukokuun vaihteessa, vielä alueella tosi hiljaista kun sesonki ei ollut alkanut. Mutta hotelli tosi kiva ja aamupaka huippu, iltaruokailu hieman meille outoa. Sisäuima-allas huippu. Great hotel :)

Hotel Zora in Primosten ist eine Reise wert.

+ excellent location, good food, nice personnel. - hotel is a bit old - caused some problems - some days air conditionong not working, the other day -the lock to room not working properly. overall inpression is not bad, just some minor parts need to be fixed.

Bodde en natt på 3 stjerns del av hotellet, dette var en forferdelig opplevelse med dårlig aircondisjon og gammelt utslitt rom, de resterende 3 netter bodde vi på 4 stjernes delen dette var mye bedre, men burde være ratet som 3 stjernes.

Hotel très moyen dans un cadre superbe. Dommage.
Séjour du 30/07 au 6/08/2015. 2 adultes + ado. Evidemment beaucoup de monde partout à cette époque. Nous avions l'expérience de Valamar Club Dubrovnik (3 étoiles) 2 ans de suite . En fait on a été déçus sur quelques points : accueil pas très agréable, manque de tenue des gens qui se balladent dans l'hotel en maillot de bain et pieds nus assez " beauf " dans l'ensemble. Très, très, très moyen point de vue nourriture, répétitive et très grasse. Petits déjeuners à pleurer . Décidément nous regrettons beaucoup sur ces points Valamar. Excursions assez chères dans l'ensemble. Aucune indication en français et pourtant c'est plein de Français !

Hotellet är slitet och ligger långt ner under de 3 utlovade stjärnorna. Hotellpersonalen är missnöjda med arbetsvillkoren och visar detta öppet för gästerna. Vi fick duka egna bord i restaurangen medan personalen tittade på och klagade.

Hotellet har en fantastisk placering og den skønneste udsigt over havet. Super lækkert område. Hotellet er meget slidt og aircondition på værelset virkede ikke særligt godt. Personalet var meget serviceminded og søde. Maden var ok og der var et stort udvalg. Der var dog ingen glutenfri brød, hvilket var ærgerligt for os, da vi har et barn der ikke kan tåle gluten. De andre hoteller vi har boet på har alle tilbudt glutenfri brød, så vi vælger et andet hotel næste gang. Man skal også være opmærksom på, at parkering er i en nåleskov, så det vil være en fordel at dække bilen til. Vi fik en del harpiks på bilen, som vi først kunne fjerne da vi kom hjem (kan dog fjernes med sprit).

God beliggenhed, mad og forhold. Dog virkede klimaanlægget ikke optimalt. Der var 36-40 grader udenfor. I de to rum var der om natten trods klimaanlæg 31-32 grader. Vi boede på øverste etage. Vi meddelte hotellet om det og at telefonen i det ene rum ikke virkede, men der blev ikke gjort noget ved det.

Flott beliggenhet, greit hotell med god mat. Det forsvant litt drikke fra rommet, men dårlig engelskkunnskaper gjorde at resepsjonen ikke helt forstod det.

Hotel i naturlige omgivelser
Lækkert område med udsigt til havet, små øer og den hyggelige gamle by Primosten. Hotellet er lidt slidt, men rent. Maden er ikke gastronomisk men gedin og lavet på friske råvarer. Vandet er krystalklart og godt at snorkle i.
