The apple tree is not just basic but very rundown, unkept and uncomfortable. We were shocked when we saw our room with kitchenette. First of all the smell is so gross. Even though it was a non-smoking room it smelled like stale smoke. The carpet was so gross that we didn't even dare to take our shoes off. There were no lightbulbs in the lamps and the kitchen had absolutely no dishes, nothing. The bathroom was gross and things were broken. We checked thoroughly for bedbugs and couldn't find any, thank goodness. I would never stay here again.

This motel was dirry. Pillow cases, sheets, floor and sinks were dirty. Crumbs, make up, crumbs on floor. Will not stay here again.

Room smelled so bad that I questioned if anything was clean. Had to endure two nights of listening to music all night from people living on the floor below us. I do not recommend staying here. The floor under the beds hasn't been cleaned in a while it looked like. Price was cheap, so that should've been my clue.

3 stars for the price/value. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. Would I bring my wife/kids here? Nope. Stuff is just beat up and worn out, but the sheets were clean and the shower was hot.

Shower drain took about 20 minutes. First room tv was dead. Second room, tv was mounted between the bed and bathroom wall.Continental breakfast was granola bars and oatmeal packets, which were taken away at least an hour before stated closing. Office was unmanned in the evening and the phone went unanswered. At "breakfast ", the hot water for oatmeal and tea had blck stuff in it, maybe dirt, maybe coffee grounds. Tweekers in other rooms were noisy and the woman screaming in the parking lot, 50 feet away was really neat.

I had a 5 am flight so I checked out at 3 am. They tried to charge me a $50 "Early Checkout" fee. No one told me of the policy when I checked and asked for a 2 am wake-up call.

I really do like the Apple tree I've stayed there many times off/on never had a problem I just stayed there for close to 2 weeks no complaints. Until... Time to check out first thing is this young girl seemed to just be the laundry girl? Went to check the room for my cash deposit back and came back with this ridiculous reason to try and keep $25 of my deposit 4 wash clothes a sheet and bath mat were "DIRTY"? She kept 23.50 of my deposit then it came time to open my envelope that I had given them an Old Hundred Dollar bill I was saving and wanted back but when I checked in that was all I had on me at the time. Now I know that the exact money you hand them for the deposit goes into a sealed envelope until you check out and room is good to go. For some RIDICULOUS reason my envelope was gone there was $60 Dollars in a sandwich baggie with $100 scratched out = $60 and on the side said Rm 219 the room I was in and next to the $60 said room 113 I've never ever stayed in? WHERE'S MY OLD HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL???? The gentleman at the desk had no idea and he was absolutely wonderful by the way amazing. I had left after only getting $80 back of random money but just couldn't drop the fact that my Hundred was taken. I went back in and said I just can't let it go ridiculous false clothing charge and my hundred? He didn't have answers manager was not in but he did the best he could he gave me another 20 out of his pocket until etc but I am still not happy and want answers on my $100 bill???

The fact it was next to everything was a plus. Not made for disabled. Room was trashed beforehand. Waited an extra 2 1/2 hrs in lobby just to find it still was dirty. Temp on hot water was luke warm at best. The breakfast was granola and muffins, juice and coffee stuff. Nothing for diabetic. I am disabled and cant go ip 2 flight of stairs. Just not a great place but i just needed to a place after getting my son from the airport. Decided another hotel. would be best when my son gets sent back.
