Overbooked Reservation

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Nothing at this point. When they realized Expedia had over book them by 5 separate reservations, someone should of called us to give a heads up.
Cons: Communication
We arrived Friday evening 7/25 after a long days motorcycle ride to Spokane only to find out at check in, that Expedia had over booked the hotel and the hotel did not have any rooms available to accommodate our stay. No one from Expedia or the Hotel had given us a call to advise of us this problem. If they would of we would not have travel 200 miles to visit the Spokane area. Unfortunately for us, there where no other hotels in a 50 radius to stay the night. Needless to say, we where extremely tired and frustrated with the entire situation. We had to ride our motorcycles in the dark another 105 miles to Moses Lake to stay over night at a Motel 6. Lesson learned; Don't not trust that you have a reservation even with a reservation confirmation number. Always call the Hotel directly prior to leaving on your trip to ensure you have a room.

Poor customer response

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Cons: When service is requested & promised it should be followed through on.
The pool was closed both nights during very hot weather. The air conditioner was very loud I requested that it be checked, but that did not occur. There were 1 x 4 boards sticking straight out the side of the foot of the bed by at least 4". I notified the front desk due to the potential for someone to be injured by tripping or hitting ankle / shin. Nothing was done to correct this.

mattress comfortable, bedspeads dirty

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: cleanliness - needs updating
would have gotten a better price directly from the hotel as they base each days pricing by how full they are. With AAA it would have been 13.00/day less.

Location: Laser tag is a must do if you have a group. Didn't sound like much fun at first-but was well worth the time.
Average hotel. Was only there one night. Suited my needs. Staff was nice.

clean and comfortable

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. The hallways were a little hot but we were cool in the room. The only drawback is that the breakfast room is tiny. Staff was friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

Good Location

Posted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
We found this hotel to be a great location for us. It is very central to shopping, close to Northpoint Plaza and Northtown Mall. Breakfast is not the usual muffins and coffee, they have sausages, eggs, waffles as well. Several restaurants within walking distance if you don't want to go too far. Staff were pleasant. Drawbacks - there were some odd smells, maybe because we were in a pet friendly room. Also the price of the pets was high for 2 tiny non-shedding dogs that do no damage. The shower curtain smelled of mildew.
