Clean rooms with an excellent staff. Some common

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Staff was excellent and it's convenient to the convention center.
Cons: Common areas need renovation
Location: close to convention center, river walk, and dining, as well as convenient to I-90
I encountered three different front desk people. Each one was courteous, helpful, and attentive to guest needs.

Extensive breakfast but rooms poor

Posted May 21, 2015
The rooms are really beat up, carpets stained pubic hairs on the toilet. I have stayed in hotels all over the world. I know if I pay a little more, I get a better room. I'm a motel 6 kind of girl. I payed $15 per night more for a "nicer" hotel. I would have been happier paying less. At least, I would have expectedrated to get what I had paid for. I was disappointed.

Not the best of locations.

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Not much
Cons: Updated rooms and beds. Breakfast served later on the weekends would be nice.
Location of motel wasn't the best. Bed was lumpy and you could feel a few springs. Breakfast was ok but only served till 9:00 on a Sat. and food wasn't very warm. Hotel staff was nice.

Pros: Beds were comfortable, slept well.
Cons: odor
Location: Didn't stay in the area enough time to see what was close by.
Our room likely was a smoking floor turned non smoking but the odor was obviously still there. Thankfully we only spent roughly 9 hours in our room just enough time to shower & sleep. But after we left my husband said my hair smelled like the room!!

Uncomfortable Beds

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Staff was pleasant enough and we liked that Starbuck's was just across the busy streets.
Cons: Beds and pillows MUST be replaced and it would provide for additional security (and peace of mind) if the door of this room was replaced or repaired.
Location: Definitely a questionable area but we had no issues there. Starbuck's was great. The nearby restaurant just was not appealing.
This is an older motel in a questionable area of Spokane but it felt "okay". The door itself had some serious digs and dings where it had appeared that someone had tried to break in to the room at one time or another. That was definitely unsettling so we definitely left no valuables in the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Our oldest son slept on an air mattress that we brought ourselves and he was the only one who had a good night sleep. The rest of us woke up with hurting backs. We asked for additional pillows because they were seriously flat. We were told SURE but come and get them ourselves. Even the new pillows were flat. Just kind of a rough night and would not have stayed a second night for sure.
