“Nice hotel for the price.”

Great location. Great service. We booked 2 rooms and asked for them to be next to each other -- they were able to accommodate us. We were walking distance to Riverfront park and downtown restaurants. Breakfast was good -- cinnamon rolls were excellent -- warm and yummy.

Area recommendations

Downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park are beautiful! The "Burgers,Philies and Dogs" restaurant near by blew our socks off!!! With their omemade onion rings and angus burgers with quality toppings cant be beat!

“Just right”

Very comfortable hotel in a great location, especially for visiting Gonzaga. The continental breakfast is good but the area is small and it gets very crowded, especially on the weekend.

Area recommendations

Manito Park is stunningly beautiful in late spring and summer. Stop at the nearby Rockwood Bakery on East 18th for a delicious lunch.

“Mostly very enjoyable”

Check in went well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was not large but had a nice desk for my laptop and a comfortable chair with ottoman to relax and read in. The only problem was the bed which was much softer than my own. I thus had some problems sleeping even though the location was quiet enough with the patio sliding door closed. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in my travels. Featured sausage patties, scrambled eggs and warm, freshly baked cinnimon rolls. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

“only reason we stayed was the shuttle driver was very accomadating and apologized for problems”

Hotel staff was not very knowledgeable of their job Hotel did have good accomaditions and belefits were good after all the confusion at check in and on the last day of our stay the manager came to us in the lobby and wanted to know what could be done to make things better for the misunderstanding that occoured the first day we were given 15000 points on my reward card since payment had been made mounths eariler

“High quality and value”

I was impressed with the Holiday Inn Express "on the rock." My room had a nice view of the surrounding area and was spacious, clean and comfortable. The small lobby had the feel of home with a fireplace and book shelves. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Spokane area.
