“Not impressed”
The room was suppose to be non smoking..the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke..room unclean garbage under bed..
“worth going back to”
Great location for different activities, would recommend to others.
“Great location, good hotel, but $9 for parking?”
The hotel is in good condition and the staff is accommodating. The gym is small, but clean and bright, and the machines are in excellent condition. We stayed over Thanksgiving and we were charged $9 per night for parking (in Spokane!) even though the guard-gate arm was up. That was galling. If you are staying in the tower, make sure you don't stay in a room with "02" on the end, e.g. 1702, 1802, etc. Those have a great view of Riverfront Park and the Spokane River, but they back to the elevator shaft, which goes all night long.
“Great place to stay near hospitals”
We were expecting bad weather so we made a reservation to stay and beat the bad weather. It was so pleasant! It made the trip so much easier to not have to drive 6+ hours to go to the hospital in a snow storm. We used the Gym and the Pool. It was very quiet and relaxed there. The price was very fair. I would recommend to anyone wanting a quality stay. Only downside is no free parking ($9.00 a night) and no free breakfast with the room. But I will stay there again.
“Great location”
This hotel is in a great location and I would definitely stay there again, as I've stayed there many times in the past. This time I booked 2 rooms, one for my 3 teenage boys and another room for my husband and I. I was disappointed that I couldn't get 2 adjoining rooms. I booked this through Expedia but I called the hotel in advance to request that and they "couldn't promise me anything." Not only couldn't I get 2 adjoining rooms but the rooms were very far apart. One room was in one tower, and the other on the opposite end of the hotel. The evening manager that night was neither friendly nor helpful.
“Apt. hunting weekend”
The Red Lion as a good place to stay. We'll stay there again.
“PLEASANT STAY”
staff was very helpful and easy to work with
“Quality rooms but not so for the staff.”
Check in time is at 3pm but i could not get my room til after 4pm. I was there visiting for a funeral, i asked for a 45 minute late check out and they would not allow it??? Staff at the front desk are rude and very poorly trained. The room was clean and a very comfortable bed. If you can put up with the low quality staff, the rooms are fine.
“Perfect Proximity to the Park”
Nice outdoor pool, walking path leading to Riverside Park, and on property restraunts with a good breakfast where kids eat free.
“Good hotel could be better”
My first experience started when I went there early and tried to check in at 12 pm and the lady at the counter kind of snapped at me and said check in is at 3pm I just kind of left it at that. Once I checked in at 2:45 pm got up to my room and it was nice and clean until I got to the bathroom the toilet was not pleasant. On day 2 in the morning they offer room service from 6am to 10pm so at 6:15 am I called to get breakfast and no answer tried 15 minutes later got an answer and ordered a crab omelette with toast orange juice and coffee. they said be there in 20 minutes. A half hour later I get a call and they said there still defrosting the crab should be there in 15. 30 min later breakfast arrives. One of the worst omelettes I've ever had. But besides that the overall experience was on a 3 to 4 rating. Good location and the grounds and pool where very well maintained.
