Very nice hotel close o downtown Spokne

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Close to downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park..
Location: Ideal location for walkers. Browsed downtown stores and entertainment in Riverfront Park.
Very nice hotel. It was busy when we checked in and there were problems with the reservation but the staff worked it through and got us in a very clean, nice room swiftly.

Got an okay deal July/2015

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Choose this place because it was a great price for the area. It does need a remodel, and the in house grill staff were a little slow on service. Overall, the hotel could easily be a four star hotel, but it lacks in service, and if you want food just go to Perkin's down the road. Got two huge dinners for the same price as two drinks in the hotel bar.

Excellent location

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: The area and staff.
Cons: They are in process of up dating. A laundry facilities would be great
Location: It's right on the river and there was a wonderful concert in the park plus fireworks.
The walking and bike trails were wonderful. Easy parking and so close to events.

Good location, charge for parking

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Nice hotel in a very good location but there is a $9 parking charge for surface parking. Seems a bit odd as the sister hotel down the street with similar set-up has free parking. This a very busy hotel so allow time for check in (20 minutes).

The hotel is kind of boring, lacks character and kind of outdated.

Great location

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: The location is wonderful, and the front end staff were helpful, cheerful and friendly.
Cons: The actual room condition was not great - there was a musty smell that never went away; hallways seem to be cleaned rarely.
Location: There are great trails beside the property, with Riverfront Park being a 1 minute walk outside the doors, and all the downtown area is close by.
The location on the Spokane River, on the walking/cycling Trails system, across from Riverfront Park, and close to downtown is great. The Red Lion at the Park is getting worn and tired, and is supposedly getting an upgrade (which is slated for one to one and a half years from now -long time frame to get started). I was disappointed.

Hotel in need of work

Posted Jul 25, 2015
The hotel could offer a lot, but needs a lot of work. Rooms are falling apart, and the housekeeping staff does not even keep up with cleaning the room or common areas like it should.

Nice but ready for that remodel...

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: dirty elevators and carpets.
Cons: new carpets.
Location: great river park, walk to mall, tram,
Great staff, clean rooms. Great location... Be sure to walk the park area Common areas, like elevators...dirty...yuko. But it is slated for a remodel and that will be great. We will stay again for sure.
