Extremely Loud Room.Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Staff and a far morning breakfast.
Cons: They need to address the noise situation and type of pets aloud in rooms.
Location: Good location close to shopping , fuel stations and food.
The rooms do not seem to have any insulation in the walls. You hear everything going on from people coming and going to people who had pets with them. We were awaken at three in the morning by loud drunk people and the next night at one thirty by a neighbor across the hall with a screeching bird. Would not recommend to a friend.

Nice clean hotelPosted Jan 29, 2015
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly. But the walls are so thin here that I heard an entire conversation the man in the room next to me had on his cell phone, including the disgusting words he was calling the female caller.

Pet friendly (for enough cash)Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Clean room. Good location. Well lighted parking lot.
Cons: Pet fee policy. Improved flexibility in assessing room charges under out of the ordinary circumstances.
Location: Convenient location. Short walk (steps) to an Outback.
Microtel's phone system failed on our attempted booking day so we were directed to Expedia. They could not hear us talking. We were unable to obtain AARP discount through Expedia. Master Card was charged Expedia's higher room price. At checkin time, Microtel Spring Hill was unable to give us their lower room rate plus they could not give us the AARP discount (because "we used" Expedia to book!!) BUT........They were able to charge us an extra $25 because our 12 pound house dog was staying with us!!!! We have used other Microtels with our dog and were NOT charged a pet fee!!! Customer satisfaction is not Microtel Spring Hill's forte.....Making "extra charges" income apparently is.

5 Night StayPosted Dec 25, 2014
Pros: Easy access to shopping and restaurants
Cons: A comfortable chair to watch tv at night
Location: We have not utilized the hotel for entertainment
Originally planned 3 nite stay but car trouble required us to stay an extra 2 nights, Staff was more than accommodating by working with reservation to allow us to remain in the same room so we did not have to pack our luggage and move. We have stayed in the hotel several times in the past few months and it is clearly the best value with the best staff in its price range.

Staff is always incredibly pleasant & helpful. It almost feels like staying with famiily. It is always a joy to see the smiling faces, especially of Van & of Jodie.

Great choice!Posted Dec 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything was great. Room was very clean and everything was nice and in good condition. We will definitely stay here again and reccomment to others. Only tiny negative thing was that receptionists were not smiling at all but we love the hotel anyway. :)

Clean & friendly in Spring Hill, FLPosted Dec 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Amazing property! All of the staff was amazing, and our room was very clean. We were originally assigned to a smoking room, the check in clerk quickly changeed us over to a non-smoking. I have two active young children, and having a clean, fuss free room means I can relax for a second or two. We were very happy.
