“Not the Best Place to Be Iced In”

We only intended to stay one night. Once we arrived, we just had a short time to shower and get going and we had no hot water. There was no time to complain because we had someplace to be and we were planning to leave the next day anywat. Meanwhile, there was freezing rain and unusual low temperatures for Houston, so we had to stay an extra day, so I asked for another room. Front desk sent their maintenance guy, who showed me that you're supposed to turn the dial toward COLD if you want the water to be HOT. Their excuse was that it was an older buiding. I'm sure a good plumber could have straightened that out.

“Can do better for the $$”

I arrived at the hotel around midnight but the lobby closes at 11:00. Had to go to a phone and call someone to come open office. All rooms are exterior entry , no hallways. There was a security guard roaming the parking lot - guess that could be a positive or a negative based on the neighborhood. The room was small but clean. On this trip I had several nicer properties from Expedia for the same price.

“Could be Cleaner”

Usually this hotel chain has really good clean rooms, but this one was a little dirty for my taste. Luckily, we were there only two nights with very little time in the room.
